2 stars because they did a good job of moving the piano, but a horrible job communicating. The movers were nice, quick, efficient and pleasant. The office lady, Tracy, however is a different story. She told me they would call me (the buyer) and the seller the day before with a pickup window. They always told me that they would call 1/2 hour before pickup. They never called me or the seller the day before. Instead they sent an email. I let the seller know myself. They called the seller 1/2 hour before, but I got a call when they were at the seller's house that they were waiting for me to pay! I confirmed that they would call me 3 times!@ Once by phone and twice by email. 3 times! They knew I was going to meet them there to pay the seller when they arrived. When I confronted the office lady about not calling me she said they would leave and come back. I told her no way, that I am on my way and they need to wait. She was very rude and abrasive and suggested this was MY fault! She was so nice when I talked to here to schedule, but the minute something goes wrong, she is no longer nice. They lost one star because they didn't call. They lost one star because she was rude and abrasive. They lost one star because she suggested this was my fault and never even bothered to apologize. She could have saved 2 stars if she would have just apologized... Tracy, Call me to sincerely apologize and I will give you 0 to 2 stars back depending on the apology.

Recommended by my piano tuner as the only piano moving team that he hires. Tracy lent further confidence in explaining the moving process and fees, and scheduling promptly. An able and courteous team of three arrived on time and took meticulous care in staging the truck, setting up and safely executing the move of my studio piano to its new home, while protecting the piano itself along with my home and landscape.

Allied moved a piano for our family from eastern Cuyahoga County to eastern Lorain County. The three moving men were quick and professional while taking great care to place the piano in my home. Tracy at the office provided great communication and dealt with a last minute change with grace and ease. I would recommend Allied Piano Movers to anyone in need of piano moving services.

Allied Piano did a great job in every respect with my old piano. I needed to move the piano out of my house to facilitate some renovations that were about to take place. Allied Piano Movers efficiently moved the piano down 14 interior steps, around sharp turns, and down 5 exterior steps. My plan was to give this piano to a friend, but she would not be moving into her new home for several months. So, Allied stored my piano in a climate controlled environment. The piano had not been tuned in a very long time. Allied contacted and made arrangements with an independent piano tuner, William Schoeffler, who did a beautiful job with the tuning and some minor repairs. Then, when my friend was ready, Allied moved the piano to her home in Columbus, OH. The movers again efficiently managed multiple steps and tight turns. I am delighted with the results, and that I was able to address all these various needs with the direct and indirect help of one company. Tracy, my contact person, was always helpful and very prompt responding to emails. I highly recommend this company.

Not your average piano move. Due to construction failure, our studio was moving from its third-floor space to another location. Our landlord created a nearly impossible obstacle course to navigate. Stairs were torn out; the freight elevator was locked, and the loading dock was blocked during our move. We changed our move date with Allied more times than I care to count. Tracey was exceptionally patient. On the day the piano was moved, three workmen arrived and thoughtfully accessed the exit routes. The piano was thoroughly assessed prior to any movement and this paperwork was given to me for approval upon their exit. The patient and professional manner in which they worked was more than I expected under the circumstances. Allied went above and beyond the call of duty.

They moved a piano we purchased from sellers home to ours. The guys were polite, respectful, worked hard to find solutions to get the piano out of the house and they do it all smoothly & with a smile. They were also priced really well.

Allied Piano Movers was great! They were on time, professional, friendly, and courteous. Tracy, who handles the scheduling, was wonderful. She worked with our pretty inflexible schedule: pick up on the westside in a two-hour window and deliver to the eastside the next morning by 10am, so that my son, who works nights could go to sleep.
