The Good: First off, because she probably gets paid based on reviews, let me say that Millie, who ended up with my account, did great. I hope that whatever ****** that came up with this policy that likely rewards you directly on your review scores sees that you did your best, and that others need to fix their issues. The driver also did great, ended up delivering in 2 days instead of 4, it was a good thing we were there to receive it. The bad: The initial contact that I had disappeared, and my account wasn't handed over to another Account Manager. The initial records had a mistake, Instead of "Needs to arrive by", they filled in the "Available to ship on", which is a big difference. (Though, that AM is gone, so likely they messed up other things) The constant barrage of emails and the initial conversation with the AM did NOT mention the $300 flat fee, so the end price was $500 more than the price they sent me in email. I got 10 emails in January, each one saying $1000, but the actual price they got me was $1200, with their $300 fee tacked on top of that. With the multiple contracts I had to sign (which I wasn't ever sent copies), I wasn't sure if I could even back out. The legalese: I'm obligated to fill out a review by contract (Order #5483471). They lost three stars for the following reasons: A) Mandatory Reviews: This is a scummy practice in general. B) Price Shock: Sending me 10 emails in 30 days is excessive, but every single email was 25% lower than the price that I finally got, and none of them mentioned the $300 fee. My end charge as 50% higher than the price I expected. C) Communication Black Hole: My account wasn't correctly handed off when my AM left the company, I sent multiple emails asking questions until someone finally figured it out.

I used AmeriFreight to ship my car from NJ to LA, and I can't recommend this company enough. This is the second time I used them to ship a car across the country and both times, I received exceptional customer service with fair pricing. I worked specifically with Harry Davis and also spoke with a few other representatives throughout my experience. Overall, I was very happy with the service. Harry did an excellent job at explaining the whole process to me and answered any questions I had. The price for shipping was fair and the service was excellent. Overall my experience with AmeriFreight was very positive. My car arrived undamaged 7 days from the pick up date and it was a very stress free experience. Thank you Harry & AmeriFreight!

Amazing service by Melissa from AmeriFreight. She took great care of us, giving us all the details for shipping a pickup. She is knowledgeable and helpful and the reason why we chose AmeriFreight to do the transporting. Matt, the truck driver, was excellent! Right from the beginning he was in contact with both parties so no guesswork. Matt was on time for the loading at one end and right on time for the unloading at our end. These wonderful folks made our transaction an absolute breeze! Thank you all again and we highly recommend AmeriFreight for your next vehicle move.

Erica at AmeriFreight was helpful, informative, and communicative throughout the entire process. She was also patient with my one million questions. I shipped my car from the east coast to the west without any problems. The driver was able to send it in five days with no damage! The only problem was the price. As some other people have noted it, the price is higher than originally quoted on their website, so I wouldn't go off that. However, I was willing to pay a higher price for a reliable company. Other than that, AmeriFreight did a good job with getting me someone to carefully transport my car across the country. I'd recommend Erica too. She was straight froward about the process and never pressured me.

The experience working with AmeriFreight made transporting our car across the country easy and stress free. The customer service was outstanding. Our agent, Harry Davis was exceptional. His communication throughout the process went above and beyond any expectations. He made sure from the onset that we understood how everything worked and all our questions were answered. Even after our car was transported, Harry called to make sure there were no problems with the delivery. Amerifreight uses the top shelf companies of the transport industry. Melodee explained everything and made me feel at ease about the whole process. It took a little longer than I wanted it to, but my car arrived the way it left. I'll take quality over quickness any day. From Texas to Massachusetts in 8 days. Not bad.

AmeriFreight found me a great shipping company to bring my old car home. My experience is during the pandemic which makes everything difficult. The first agent I spoke with was great but ended up going out on leave. I wasn't in a rush so my car sat waiting for a carrier. I was notified a carrier was available to pick up my car within hours. That was not enough time, the call came in super early in the morning, I needed to contact my cousin who had the vehicle and I was having a difficult time getting a hold of someone at AmeriFreight to return their call. By the time I made the calls, the carrier was unable to make the pickup. Ugh! but fortunately he would be coming back through in another week. I would be contacted the following Monday with all the details. Monday came without a phone call so again I tried getting a hold of someone at AmeriFreight. My agent was still out on leave. After speaking with a different agent he found my agent on leave did not send me the necessary paperwork electronically to okay. Ugh again! After all that was taken care of Alex from the Shipping Experts picked up my vehicle and delivered it safe and sound.

This was my first time shipping a vehicle. The process can seem quite foreign to a first timer. My agent at AmeriFreight was Melodee Tedder who explained the process very well and made it easy. Overall, we had a great experience with Amerifreight and would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the carrier they subcontracted with, All United Carrier Corp. The pick-up went perfect and like clockwork but, the driver on the delivery end of things had a very tough time with finding the delivery location which was very simple on google maps. A 2 hour delivery window that started at 4 pm finished after several phone calls back and forth at 9:30 pm at night in the dark. No one wants to receive a vehicle in the dark when it is hard to inspect. Also, what delivery driver gets lost and goes to the wrong address with GPS....? We were a little shocked and disappointed at this aspect when this happened, but at the end of the day the car showed up in one piece. Last, to all newbies who haven't shipped before. Don't be fooled by all the cheap ads saying they can ship your car for $600-$700. Our vehicle was a 2018 Ford Focus, a very small vehicle. The lowest it will probably cost you out of pocket to ship any vehicle is $1,000.00. If you can't afford at least that, look for another option.

Melissa worked with me to expedite my move. I went from an op to a non-op vehicle in the middle and had to adjust. The team worked together as well and I could call anyone to have them review the options. She was very up front with any and all charges. First flush of costs were low...and if I had the time to wait it would have been better for me. But my timeline was more expressed due to my needs. And they found a great transport for me. Transport was very professional and knowledgeable. Also timeline to delivery was even faster than expected. Be sure to be ready or have someone at the other end to receive your vehicle.
