The boardwalk could really use some fixing but I love going and watching the water because it used to be my dads favorite place to sit.

A person would think the county would fix this park up after 3 years since the tropical storm. It's a complete embarrassment. I guess they're waiting for some of us locals to do their work. How about getting the tire that's been on the ground in the so called middle pavilion removed after being there for 2 months. Walton County Parks and Recreation Department, show some pride!

Very nice bay views. Very quiet, right by the road. Was literally driving and decided to stop at this place just to take a quick mental break from the day. Nothing fancy, place looks like it's seen some love but the view did yhe trick. Have passed back by 3 times since I found it just to park and walk around a bit before continuing on with my day.

I have many many good memories from years ago when everyone used to hang out there. Cook some food on a grill, kids swimming, adults listening to some good music, just hanging out and having fun!!

Nice park, good equipment. Cute details like the “fossils” on the bottom side of the slide. It’s nice that it’s fenced, because it’s near a road. Also nice that it’s by the water. My 3 year old nephew likes it here, and so do I.

Boat launch, picnic benches, bathroom facilities and a little park for kids. Great location to launch a boat and get out on to the Choctawhatchee Bay. Drive across the bay and you’re in the heart of Destin.
