The place to start your trip on the ET Highway. Certainly an oasis here, but the ET highway is the best part. Lots of isolation and actually some amazing Joshua Trees.

Great spot to stop for a rest. They have picnik tables and huge trees t I shade you from the sun. Entry of room to park. They have garbage cans for your wrappers. Please use them to the is your garbage and keep the place clean.

It's a nice enough place to rest however there are no restrooms or any other services. If you're here to put stickers on the Extraterrestrial Highway sign be advised that it has been remounted onto 10 ft tall steel poles. Needless to say, the sticker count on the sign has been reduced drastically however the poles on the other hand are well covered in stickers. Feel free to leave your mark.

This is one of those obscure little places in the middle of nowhere that you'll always remember after stopping once. And in my case, return every chance I get. There's nothing more than a little space to park a couple of vehicles in the dirt and a tree or two for a little shade. No restroom. Not even a picnic table. About all you can do is stretch your legs. And take a picture, next to the sign post. Of a one of a kind, out of this world, roadsign. For The Extraterrestrial Hwy. Hmm?
