Stay away from Lowe’s/ECF partnership! Installer was on time and seemed like a nice person, however I am a very disappointed customer. Tack strips were not installed on the stairs, so there is a big slope on each step. I don’t know if this is a safety issue or not, but definitely looks bad! According to Dan at East Coast Flooring, this is their “standard installation”. My guess is that the guy didn’t have enough tack strips on him, so just skipped it instead of go get some. Also the carpet on most of the steps on the edges (not all of them), are loose, can be pulled up without any excessive force, again according to East Coast Flooring this is their standard installation. 124 sqf of carpet was used (including about 20sqf leftover which I was expecting), but was quoted 180sqf, so now I have a whole 6x9 piece leftover I obviously paid for ($150). The explanation was this was the only way to cut it… (they are saying “factor of waste” hahahaha 100sqf project requires 180sqf SOLID COLOR carpet). If so, a business should reach out to their customers and let them know that half your purchase/labor will be a waist. I wish I had known, because I could have had them install that big piece in my two closets I was going to skip to save some $$. Or instead of a middle of the road carpet choose a way more expensive one that doesn’t require almost 50% percent waist. I wish I had done this myself like everything else in my house! Luckily this whole thing was put on my Lowes credit card, corporate and credit card services were helpful so I am not paying until this get sorted.

Updating my review, changing from 1 to 4 stars. Initial install had many issues but they stood behind their work and sent out a real pro, Klodia, who completely tore out the backsplash and replaced all dry wall and tile. He spent 2 days ensuring the work was fixed. I would recommend asking for him by name.

Wilmer, Jorge and their crew installed Cali bamboo engineered wood flooring in our foyer, dining room, great room and kitchen. They came out a day early to look over the job and address any possible issues before they even began the installation. They made sure that we all knew and understood what the project would entail. This was a two day process and they arrived each day on time and ready to get to work. They were an excellent team, each one knowing what needed to be done, working well together and completing the job on time. They were professional, respectful and competent. I would give them a ten rating and would highly recommend them.

I am very happy with the installation. We were scheduled between 2 & 4. Randy was held up on his previous job and this caused our appointment to get pushed out to after 5:00. This information was communicated to me as soon as it was available so it was not a problem. Randy was very professional and followed Covid 19 protocols throughout the appointment. We had a couple of surprises once the old carpet was removed and Randy took care of them quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Randy and East Coast Flooring and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Randy did an excellent job installing our new carpeting. Initially I was concerned because it was a big job that required moving some heavy furniture and he was alone. However he was able to get everything moved and get the huge roll of carpet up to the second floor without any help. He obviously is very skilled and did a fantastic job in a timely manner. He was polite, friendly and very professional and I would highly recommend him to others. Thanks for sending him for this job.

Wow!!! This company hires nothing but professional people. The installer I had was Selim. I cannot say enough about him. He installed my backsplash in my kitchen. From the moment he arrived, he was first class. Neat as a pin, very very conscience of his work and finished with cleaning the kitchen when done, even mopped the floor. I would so recommend this company to anyone and live that lowes sub contracts them. Thank you thank you thank you for making my experience absolutely perfect and so smooth.

Nowadays with so many businesses using online marketing to look good, it's hard to pick real business. East Coast is REAL... It consists of fine, professional, caring, men and women who want to serve me and my home!! They scheduled fairly quickly, called back with smile couple of times to ensure delivery, and on the day the installer called 25 minutes before arriving, was super polite, on time, had everything needed, and genuinely willing to work around me. This is rare in today's online businesses. He then proceeded to vacuumed and clean the area after he was done!!!!!! I give East Cost Flooring 2 Thumbs up!! Keep up the good work serving our community!
