Do not work here. Management is toxic. There is a huge lack of organization with no real training or support. No work life balance, constantly asked to work on days off on short notice. One manager in particular has bizarre angry outbursts and emotional tantrums almost daily. There is way too much blatant racism. Migrant workers are treated like animals. Multiple serious safety issues are ignored, machinery left damaged, and corners cut. Extremely high turnover. Orders get confused and messed up, product quality can be sketchy, and working conditions unhealthy. This place has multiple huge problems.

Good job with good pay but has poor mid level management/leadership, and several safety concerns that go unaddressed for LONG periods of time.

I know several employees from this organization at several levels of employment and it has been frustrating to hear the same thing from all of them. Some are still there and some have moved on. Not sure where to start about this company but they have some pretty horrible practices in both growing and people relations! This company has either turned a blind eye to some pretty shady methods or their growers just don't know what they're doing. Which I actually believe most of their managers and supervisors are terribly incompetent (however, there are a couple Assistant Growers who are shining stars that will probably not last very long). They have allowed incompetence to run amuck that it has effectively hurt their bottom line in the 10s of 1000s...probably more over the years! The owners must not really care how much money is wasted. They do not mind sending product to customer that will die shortly after product has been received...as long as they are presentable at time of receipt...it is no longer their issue or concern. They often supplement their lost inventory (mostly due to internal incompetency) with foreign greenhouse product. Shame. The people side is that the training here is horrendous...everyone has their own methods, there are power struggles in lower management, extreme favoritism, malicious and vindictive behaviour, bullying, disregard for safety of H2A workers (blatant racism at work here), unhealthy rivalry to achieve advancement opportunities, etc. Might I warn you that I don't think anyone here has looked up the word 'ethics'...and if it ever was there...it has flown the coop years ago! Honestly, there are ample opportunities for legitimate lawsuits against this company for EOE, sexual harassment and safety practices. It is only a matter of time before someone wises up and issues a lawsuit. You name it...these people are not pleasant to work with. If you want to work somewhere and feel satisfied keep on strolling because this place IS NOT for you!

Signed up for what I thought was a 40 hour work week instead got 64+ hours weekly with no over time pay which they do not tell their new employees. My training was awful leaving me often confused with some exceptions on days when I had proper trainers. The place had the nerve to complain about my performance after working me far more than I initially agreed and would fail to properly train me. This place was one of the most disorganized and underhanded places I ever worked.

I have toured the facility -- such state of the art excellence! The sheer volume of work and the standards of quality at each stage of production speak of the ongoing effort to refine and continually improve the service and the product at Green Circle. It is inspiring! Recently I saw the news that Green Circle Growers donated multiple truckloads of Orchids -- one of their signature flowers -- to the "Front-line" workers in our fight against Covid19. THANK YOU for blessing others in these trying times!

Also known as Just Add Ice Orchids, the blooms will seduce you. But DON'T BE FOOLED. Solid brown sponge at the center of the plant to force it to bloom and killing loads of roots in the process. I had to cut off loads of roots and I am now expecting bud blast. 😡😠 I hope this scam of a place goes bankrupt. Please note: my photos are from the day that I bought that orchid.
