Trucker Life! Came in around 10am and inside is not busy. There are plenty parking for semis and 4 wheelers. There's also charging stations for EVs. Huge restrooms with plenty toilet stalls and an attendant keeping it clean. There are places to buy food, snacks, coffee, souvenirs and a little convenience store. Gas station and light maintenance (oil change, etc) shop is outside.

One of the most "road friendly" rest stops I've been to. Had good choices for food and the gas station is full service. Clean bathrooms with staff actively engaged.

Not a bad resting area. But the burger king is so bad! The food was premade, and soggy!

Large and modern rest area.in addition to the usual rest rooms, they have a food court and even some small retail stores.

It was super crowded today! Employee shortage and huge traffic made this location a little messy! However they are still trying their hardest to satisfy their customers. Bathroom was ok considering the crowd and less manpower.

This is one of the newer, more modern service areas. It has the usual number of fast food vendors, a snack/gift/souvenir shop, gas station & of course, the most important thing of all to those who travel - restrooms. The food court/gift shop area & general common space is neat & clean, but roughly only half of the food vendors were open in the middle of the day (which isn't so surprising considering the current stay-at-home orders in NJ & most surrounding states), the bathrooms are also clean & they seem to get the necessary consistent attention to keep them that way. The gas station had all bays open & the attendants were friendly & efficient. (pump-your-own gas is not allowed at rest areas in the state of New Jersey.) Unfortunately the gas prices are a good bit higher than the prices were paying in the Southern state we were coming home from. (between .30 & .45 per gallon higher!!) Overall, it's a very nice service area.

We drove into the gas station in the pouring rain with a flat tire (on a brand new tire!) on Christmas Eve this past December. A gentleman from North Carolina who appeared to be with the North Carolina Sheriff's Association stopped and helped by trying to inflate the flat but the tire was too far gone. And though we were familiar with our "new" gently used van because we had owned an older model, we discovered that knowing where the spare tire and jack were did not guarantee that we would be able to change the tire. Our jack was jammed shut (likely because it had never been used in the one-year-old van) and would not work. My husband and I stood in the pouring rain, our youngest stood with his special needs brother on the island between the gas pumps and our daughter ran inside the service center to see if she could purchase a screwdriver to unjam the jack. Because of COVID and the fact that it was Christmas Eve, the service area stores were closed but she found two mechanics in the garage area. She thought they might be able to loan us a screwdriver to act as a lever to unjam the jack. Instead, Connor and Mike came out-- in the still pouring rain-- with an industrial jack and air impact lug nut wrench and took off the flat and replaced it with the spare we had pulled from its storage location. We could not thank them enough. We also discovered the spare tire is not a full-size spare as in the previous models so the flat--being a normal-sized tire-- would not fit in the spare's storage compartment under the van. Mike came out with 4-foot zip ties and tied the flat to the luggage rack on top of the van. They earned more than five stars for going above and beyond. Many thanks to Connor and Mike at the J. Fenimore Cooper Service Area!

It's an average NJ service stop. The bathrooms are mostly clean and the place seems safe. My wife wanted Cinnabon, so that's why we stopped here. It was actually closed but they were still in there working. She bought a boxed 6 pack and they heated the whole box, gave her extra icing and plenty of napkins. The rest of the place is ok, but the Cinnabon crew is great.

As rest stops go this one really could use an upgrade. There are not many bathroom stalls . And the whole place is a little cramped. However I had a great experience with the onsite garage on two separate dates one when I had a flat tire and once when I needed new windshield wipers. The staff is very professional and helpful.

Not sure why the front entrance/ breezeway smells like vomit... maybe it is spoiled milk? Disappointed both Starbucks and the convenience store are closed so early into the evening and exactly when I need them the most (at 10:45pm on a Monday) 🤔 The employees are nice and parking was available cose to the door. The poor lighting overall in the parking lot made me paranoid.

This is a great place to stop when traveling on the Jersey Turnpike. If you are on the bus, its a welcomed opportunity to walk around, use the restrooms, and get a quick bite to eat. There is a Starbucks and Auntie Ann's Pretzel shop. There is also a variety store where you can get soda, juice, candy and pretzels. Each stop along the turnpike is named after a former President of the United States. You can also get gas here.
