I’m so grateful for the team at Freddie’s. My family was stranded on I-10 with what I initially thought was a dead battery on Saturday midday during a holiday weekend. I called roadside assistance with my insurance and after about a long wait decided to start calling companies from a google search. I called a few before Freddie’s that either had almost a 2 hour wait or no availability. When I called Freddie’s a female answered, was very honest about costs, and even asked if I had called my insurance to save money because they were in network. I called her back and advised I would like to proceed and would file for reimbursement for sake of time. She was very quick to gather my info and said she’d have Austin call me. Austin called within minutes and help me diagnosis that it was probably my alternator so he’d reach out to the tow truck guy (who I later found out was named Calvin). Calvin called me within about 5 minutes later and provided me with his ETA. He arrived and worked quickly to get my car loaded and family loaded in the cab. He was very personable during the car ride; my only slight complaint was that he vaped a few times while my kiddos were in the truck. He provided an upfront estimate for the repair before we got to the shop. Once at the shop, he worked proficiently and had us back on the road in no time. The price was what I felt to be reasonable for a tow, alternator, after hours, and speedy repair once we got to the shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if I needed help in the area again.

Dont go to this place. It is a trap. Customer service is horrible. 1400.00 to change a belt. Maybe it was because we were black maybe it was because we were woman no matter the reason. We shouldn’t have to pay 650 for a part that we dont have a receipt for 29.99 for a belt and 650.00 for labor. My best advice if your car breaks down is push it to the next exit and look for someone professional cause these people are NOT.

Paid $80 for one single SUV tire to be mounted and balanced here, was mounted not balanced. My 15 year old spare was very smooth ride, after this mount smooth to 65mph 75-85 was pretty unbearable. Removed all the weights from the previous balance, had probably 5oz of wet sand still stuck to the wheel from rain the night before, so even had it been balanced it would’ve been off after the sand was washed off. Very disappointed to have far overpaid and so little effort put into doing it right.

We were driving home from Tallahassee about 2 1/2 hours away when our car started shaking, the tire was bad, we had no idea where to go so we made a few phone calls and Jimmies was able to send Nick out to help us, he was very courteous, professional and got the job done quick!! Highly recommend this place!! Thank you Nick for helping us get back on the road!!

I work at a dealership in Jacksonville and helped a customer who broke down. She had Geico roadside assistance and when they came they decided to tow the vehicle. Bmy customer was stuck in a hotel for 3 days because the issue was misdiagnosed first they said it was just the battery and not the alternator. After going back and forth we agreed on $411 for the battery. Then when the mechanic got done he said the alternator was bad as well. He quoted me $309 for the part and approximately $200 in labor. We agreed to have the work done and then they couldn't get the part until the next day (understandable). That didn't go to plan either as the mechanic made a blank trip to get the part. Finally, the part arrived at 2:30 and the mechanic put the part on. Upon everything being done, they charged us another $200!!! For what? I do not know! Then we expressed our dissatisfaction, they opted to put it on us and even told us several times that they would take the parts off of the car! They were happy with us being upset and wanting to do a review online and thus threatened us to report us to the BBB??? Really??? What a joke! I would never use these crooks! Ever!!
