This was the best road stop we've made.
We had no idea when we pulled in. They had sculptures and presentations. Cook books and coffee..
The staff were so helpful and pleasant.
We got.all kinds of tips on what to do around our next destination.

Beautiful welcome center. Warm coffee on a cold day. Picnic area in the back, clean bathroom and a wonderful short video of the Atchafalaya basin! Definitely worth a visit. Great experience for the kids!

Such a cute welcome Center. The workers inside are so helpful, and can give you suggestions on places to pop by and visit. We got some really wonderful hiking trail recommendations. The short 10 minute move is nice, as well as the mini museum. There are also some nice and clean restrooms. We really enjoyed stopping here, we learned so much about Atchafalaya

Great rest stop. Beautiful place. We stopped with our RV for the night, as did many other people. It was perfect for getting a good night sleep after being on the road for so long. So peaceful. Pretty. I would definitely stop here again when I'm on the road.

Yes this is a 5 start rest area. Serious, it checks all the boxes. Nice clean well lit. Plenty of parking and clean rest rooms. What makes it outstanding is the visitors center. They have a nice exhibit on the area, complete with animatronics. Kids and adults will love the 4 minute show. Loads of information about the area and things to see. Hello and friendly staff to help you out. The answer to the question in the photo is pineapple.

FANTASTIC! We see a lot of Welcome Centers and travel stops, this is one of my favorites! Designated Big Rig, RV, auto parking (separate areas). Quiet, well manicured, scenic. We rode our bikes all over, lot’s to explore! The Sunset at the water was gorgeous! We stayed overnight in our RV, it was quiet and we felt safe.

Very clean with security. Can park your RV over night for some rest or just walk around the back to stretch your legs and see all the sculptures. Beautiful water way with bridge. The bathrooms are very clean, well lite and taken care of.
Was there after hours so I didn't see anything inside. They have vending machines with drinks and snacks.

A big thank you to the employee here for helping me get home. It was hot. I was lost and willing to take the levee to get home, but directed a much safer route. Thank you for being there at that time. Very hospitable.

Wonderful stop. Bathrooms plentiful. Lots of room to get out and stretch your legs. Large welcome center separate from bathhouse. Directions a little confusing coming off westbound to RV parking. On this trip, stalls in women's bathroom needed some assistance but otherwise clean.

We were there at night for a quick restroom break, so didn't get to see much. The buildings are nice. The restrooms clean. There are vending machines. Large parking area. Will stop again when in area to hopefully see more.

•Bathrooms are clean and had toilet paper.
•The bridge nearby isn't to loud because the barricade breaks up the noise and makes for a fairly quiet rest stop.
•The parking lot is well maintained and getting a tractor trailer in here is quite easy.
•Cars are required to go to the other side of the bridge so entrance traffic isn't really shared with 4 wheelers (just keep an eye out for the stubborn ones that still park on the truck side anyway.)
•Most important for all Truckers this is an easy off easy on rest area despite appearances. Getting in and out should not take long.

Nice are to get info and free coffee! Some nice displays to fetch your eye as you wander around. You may stretch your legs as you gather brochures after seeing the exhibit like displays then head to the large info desk where the people were very helpful and friendly. Sign in as that helps them keep the place open. Restrooms outside main lobby area were fine with plenty of facilities to use. Clean parking area, nice location enjoyed the info. Free sticker showcasing the area was nice also.
