MHC Kenworth - Knoxville

MHC Knoxville Service Center is the epitome of awful. Very unprofessional, lacks integrity, and sloppy repair work. Not only has this place compromised my drivers safety multiple times, they do patchwork. I have several trucks that have undergone/ undergoing thousands of dollars worth of work and every time a driver goes to pick up one, service lights arise on the trucks. Mind you this is after they have claimed to test the vehicles. I would never recommend this place, I actually think they need to be audited on a federal level because safety is the last thing on their mind. They fail to actually repair trucks after conning us out of our money and fail to protect their personal and customers safety by not following proper covid protocols.

Something wasn't clicking here, idk exactly what wasn't, but I had a bad vibe dealing with this place

MHC has been ALWAYS been amazing for us (Enterprise Oil). From timely parts delivery to availability. Their body shop has worked on several trucks for us have have been awesome! The shop has always been quick to turn jobs. I can't say enough good about the folks @ MHC.

That is the last time I use that location for repairs unless under extreme dire circumstances. Rude, inconsiderate, and very little customer service. I had to go down to check on my truck constantly; not even mentioning the fact that I had to call my company to talk to them, to be let inside due to temps being in the low 40 before the sun went down and hours before they finish with my truck and no source of hear provided outside. Very little consideration for anyone not an employee. I understand being safe about Covid, however, none of the techs were wearing a mask in close proximity to each other, but the lounge was closed to drivers... Hey, MHC corporate, if you're going to implement rules at your locations to restrict drivers from being able to- at the very least- stay warm, you should be even more strict about your employees wearing their masks, inside the building while on their break!these are some of the things drivers put up with at various locations, up to no access to bathrooms and being treated like absolute garbage!

Not a bad shop but it definitely needs some improvements on some areas. I understand they are very busy but a two hour job took 4 days. Some of the reasons why I didn’t rate them higher is because of the lack of communication!!! Also becaus they don’t use seat or floor covers. I keep my truck extremely clean especially on the inside because like most truck drivers that’s where we live for weeks at a time so it’s important to keep it clean. The seat, steering wheel, door handle and the floor was left with grease and stains all over.

Bought a used truck here and the salesman lied over and over, told me anything he needed to and didnt stand behind any of it. Actually acted like he was irritated that I didnt pay for the truck before I came to look at it. Told me he would replace a plastic cover on the grab bar (didnt happen). Said they would put some fuel in the truck a couple times (last time I asked he said I had enough to get to the pilot). Said they would change the auto trans to performance mode, then told me they checked and it was already in performance mode (just had it changed by another dealer). Broke down 20 miles down the road and they told me to get a hotel room while they fixed it and send the bill for the room( sent the bill for the room but they never paid, didnt expect they would at this point). I found masking tape still on the truck from paint work and 4 months later I have paint peeling off the truck in a few places. Almost all the paint is gone from the mirror covers and its smooth under the paint from no prep.

Great staff, attentive and quick service response.. They open 24hrs which is a great thing for owner operators. Bravo 👏

Unprofessional rude time wasting people work at this company. Don't try to come here unless you don't have a choice. They won't inform you even if they have done working on it you will be sitting here for week. "SPECIFICALLY IF YOU'RE BLACK PLEASE STAY AWAY THEY ARE RACIST"

I love going places that have the parts you need after being stupid enough to run over your own oil cap. Great place, great guys.

The oil change deal for the month of May for $249 is a great deal but it’s also a torture because it takes 5 hours to get a oil change from KW just oil change just oil change. I don’t know what it is with this location everywhere else I went in all 48 states it felt like they were doing better then MHC Knoxville. I guess don’t come here lol that’s what whoever reads the review will say. Kenny the night parts guy is good at his job probably under paid and the guy on the weekends that works in parts dept also cares for humanity probably under paid
