Not the cleanest iv seen it. Still a great stop. Although the bathrooms really could use a update and change the door to swing both ways as push or get the foot open for the door. I hate washing my hands then have to grab the door handle to open they don't have paper towels and not everyone who uses the bathroom washes hands seen it too many times.

I didn't go inside to bathrooms. I only stopped to stretch my legs, but the area in general seemed to be pretty nice. There wasn't a bunch of trash in the ground. Most of the trash cans were pretty empty, only the one in the picture was somewhat full.b The landscape is nice and looked as if it is being kept up with. There was no odor coming from the bathrooms so that was nice. Has some dirt paths and picnic tables if you are stopping to eat. It is in the desert so it can be pretty warm. Also need to keep your eye out for any critters. There is a sign that says to watch out for rattlesnakes.

May want to skip this stop. Not sure if flies are around due to water in the near area or just the restrooms need work. Flies by the hundreds.

Holy moly I love this place and we have only been here an hour! Thank you New Mexico! An easy place to spend the night and free!!! With a picnic table and shelter and garbage!
