Busted water fountain in the desert. Was thinking about spending the night here, but not without drinking water. This is really annoying!
EDIT: Decided I have to drive 50 miles to the next rest area for water. This was supposed to be my landing spot but now here I am trying to wake up and go so I can be healthy tomorrow.
FURTHERMORE: Don’t bother driving to the Vaughn NM rest area for water! That one has the water fountains labeled “NON-POTABLE”. So you’ll have to get off the interstate somewhere to look for water!

Both bathrooms are clean, parking lots for trucks and cars is clean, area is well taken care of.
Not just in our opinion, little walked in with her mom and said “thank god it’s clean” I was like dang, better leave a review.

I was grateful for this lovely, well-kept rest stop. Things were clean and there seemed to be nice places if you wanted to get out and eat or walk around. We were in a hurry so we didn't stay very long. Another reviewer mentioned the vending machines were pricey but in the middle of nowhere and in these post-pandemic times I feel they were about the right prices.

It's absolutely ridiculous that these places are closed to travelers due to our current events (covid-19).
Completely immature and irresponsible of our "leaders" to do this, ESPECIALLY to the trucking industry.

I'm a truck driver and I passed this rest area Monday through Friday. This rest area is closed Monday through Thursday. I don't know how many times I've seen people trying to go in there during the week and then they swerve back onto the roadway and almost causing accident. Why is this rest area closed 4 days a week there's always an employee in a state truck sitting in there all week long. It is embarrassing for people that come from out of state and try to get into a rest area and they're closed people need a break from the road and need rest areas especially when they need the restroom or need to throw some trash this place needs to be open always especially since there's an employee there every day what are we paying these employees for in there and it's closed.

Nice rest area. Has quite a few informative information signs and vending machines. Bathrooms were reasonably clean and there was a lot of parking for trucks trailers AZ nd autos.

Decent rest area with easy on, easy off access at MM 30. Fair amount of car parking and about 20 spaces for trucks... though it's laid out poorly lol. The old washrooms have been replaced with a newer facility. It's been years since I've stopped here, so just how new I'm not sure. There are some eating areas at the few pavilions that separate the parking. A wee bit of grass by the ditch if your dog is picky where it likes to walk 😃

Nice rest stop area with plenty of parking for all vehicles including very large commercial and semis. Easily seen from freeway and has good signs to help indicate when to exit I40. Has bathrooms for both genders and places for the pets to go too. State operated so I would keep pets on a leash. Nice place to stretch the legs out on your journey. I would recommend this rest area. It's nice like all the ones in New Mexico.
