I have been a customer of Paradee Gas in Dover Delaware since 2006 and have never had an issue. That is not the case now that it is Amerigas. We were out of town and came home to no fuel. I immediately ordered fuel (Sunday). And then called the next day. Imagine my surprise to find out that the local office is closed and all calls go to a centralized location-which is a call center. I spoke with and chatted with representatives. I paid extra for expedited service and was told to expect delivery by Nov. 30 (Wednesday). I asked if it could be sooner, he said yes to expect delivery that day (Monday) and if not, within 24 hours of our chat (Tuesday). It is Wednesday and I am now being told that fuel will be delivered on Dec. 1 (Thursday). We have been without heat, hot water, and cooking all week. I am so frustrated that I can not talk to someone who is local. I will be changing to a company that has a local office.

Merica for PARADEE GAS CO.
poor service, ran out many times even on a budget and auto fill plan. Was a customer for 15 years decided to down size to smaller tank did so for 2 additional years then decided to purchase tank and have it filled by another company. called amerigas to remove their tank and they informed me i had to pay a service call for $149 to have their tank removed.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! Still waiting for them to show up at my home. Numerous appointments made with more than half of them being rescheduled by the company itself. Good thing my heat does not depend on propane. I would definitely look elsewhere if your heat is dependent on propane use.

If I could, I would give them 0 stars. Terrible customer service. Been dealing with them for a year since moving and having to cancel the account. I have spoken to multiple representatives that have been little to no help, asked to speak to supervisors, which are never available, and have been transferred to the survey in the middle of being put on hold with my issue not being taken care of. The issue or any answers have yet to be answered. It’s disappointing, especially because I was a customer for 10years. I would NOT recommend this company.

Several years ago, we ran out of gas on New Year's Eve. I called the emergency number and not only did they send a truck to fill our tanks, but his Supervisor came and personally checked our gas fireplace to ensure there were no leaks, before he restarted it. I'd say that was exceptional customer service. To make it even sweeter, we are farther west in their service area than any other of their customers.

I am very happy with my Amerigas service this year. The online request for delivery is easy to use and the propane delivery is fast. I am also happy about signing up for the guaranteed price per gallon plan.

I am so disappointed in 'Amerigas..I thought after Amerigas bought out Paradee that things would change..The site you can't get into and do anything..I have a 36 dollar credit on my account and can't seem to get them to apply it..They have decided I have to pre pay..and it makes no sense ..My account is paid in full..Not happy as it is cold out and I need to order propane and there are dozen issues with this place..

I’ve never had AmeriGas, but apparently I do now. I sold my home a year and a half ago where they say I have gas at now. I’m getting calls trying to collect a balance from me, I explained to them that I have never had AmeriGas and that I do not live at that address and have not lived there for over a year. It didn’t seem to do any good explaining to them and the “notes” that they wrote down I guess don’t mean much, because I’m still getting invoices sent to me.

I really wish I could leave no stars - please DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! We inherited them from the former owner of our home, battled with them for over 2 years because they said we had a contract - FINALLY they said the contract was up, we went with someone else, I sent them a letter and called saying close our account and come get the tank - never heard anything for months - now they are sending us a tank rental fee, saying we HAVE to pay it, also we have to pay out of our pockets for someone to dig up the tank - we have no idea who actually owns the stupid thing - or pay them $650 to own a 25 year old tank that they say needs repairs but never have come to repair!!
