They didn’t order my parts I needed and since they are redoing the drive way they have trucks blocking the normal way around the building no signs saying what to do and it’s real tight because they have more trucks parked where you need to turn to get back out

July 6th 2022 I visited this dealer. Reasons where for a repair on my Freightliner cornado. I ended up at the peterbuilt dealer because of a few reasons. One part shortage from freightliner. Two freightliner in Joplin was a nightmare to deal with staff was rude and not very helpful let alone there attitudes there just made me Wana jump in front of a bus it brought me down in to a bad mood. Enough of that. It turned around once I made a phone call over to Joplin peterbuilt and the parts guy forgot the name said bring it down see if we can help you. Let me tell you because of the amazing staff from parts to the service manager to mechanics. I cannot thank them enough for getting me and my son back on the road with ice cold AC. This has been my deciding factor once this economy changes I will be buying peterbuilts from here on out. I seriously cannot thank Joplin peterbuilt enough. It may not seem like alot was done but seriously you made my day so much better and you guys where a huge help. Just amazing. Thank you again. Sincerely CK TRANSPORTATION. Cody and Zaid.

The service department is one of the best or the best in the country. They are very good at what they do. The second shift crew are amazing. They are amazing all the way from the receptionist to the service manager and the parts counter. I will divert our Peterbilt locations just to come here. Thank you all for your service and help

Having purchased 5 trucks and referred others to this dealership since 2004 I would say Joplin Peterbilt certainly goes over and beyond to treat each customer as one of their own. From Ted Meador in sales to the mechanics shop ran by Dusty Ford and Jay Massey back to the body shop ran by Glin Woods id say you’d be hard pressed to find a better bunch of people to work on or sell you a truck. And of course the GM Roger Bartlet is always there to help with any questions or concerns. The Larson Group as a whole was started as a owner operator store and still even growing to 26 plus stores I would say still holds that value in mind. So yes I certainly appreciate and recommend not only the Joplin store but The Larson Group as a whole. Rick and Lisa Weddle Kool Ride Union Missouri

OK so today is aug 15 2020, I bought a $73,000 used Peterbilt on June 30th 2020 so not quite two months I bought it basically online drove to Joplin and look the truck over I would never do this again I’ve never done this before the truck was very clean but when I got there noticed that it had recaps all the way around the truck I never run recaps they wasn’t going to do anything about that unless the price went up so I bought it as is and on the 5 mile test drive everything seem to run OK it was late in the afternoon I wanted to be able to make it back home so I left with the truck made it 20 to 30 miles out the air conditioner stopped working made it almost home before I had a blowout on one of the recaps that tore up the quarter fender so I had to buy all eight new Tires on the back and new half fenders that set me back about $4500 almost home a sheriff pulls me over I have no tail lights I noticed a few other things besides air conditioner and lights so I took it to Peterbilt Wichita Ks they had the truck five days had to replace the charge air system the filter on the air conditioner was completely clogged never been looked at replace the wiring for the lights replaced one bulb up front turn signal while it was there Peterbilt Wichita Ks went open the door and broke the door handle had to replace that I was charged for all of it even though I bought the red oval warranty that should’ve paid for most of it that was another $3000 got my first load with the truck after it said it Peterbilt Wichita Ks or five days made it to Oklahoma City it broke down again with numerous fault codes it was there for 14 days while they changed numerous sensors a computer brain box and a wiring harness this time it cost me $2000During this whole time I’m talking to the manager in Joplin Peterbilt and he’s telling me he is looking in on this Situation and mails me a Joplin Peterbilt hat I guess to fix the situation so I guess what I’m saying is buyer beware the red oval that these dealers push on this 150 point inspection and low mileage almost perfect used trucks is a hoax this truck is washed and put up for sale waiting for some idiot to come along me being that idiot the Peterbilt red ovalIs a joke and I would steer away from TLG Peterbilt after the way I’ve been treated

I'll start off by saying they sold me a lemon secondly I'll say I should've pulled out of this deals thr second they sent no video of the truck running thirdly i'll say I picked up the truck on Tuesday this is the following Tuesday and the truck is in the shop. The truck was suppose to have virgin rubber and all the tires except the steers were recaps which one blew the 3rd day and blew off my tire guard. This was my first truck and its been a horrible experience. I would tell people if your not buying a brand new truck from this location I would steer clear literally. So the truck has a air compression issue, the ParkSmart didn't work either. Its a 2016 I expected some issues but im not even a week end. I would also recommend if you're going to buy used from them to bring a mechanic not just a guy that does inspection. The truck passed inspection twice with lights out go figure. I would give them Zero stars if I could. I just have to work through the issues until I can get rid of this price of junk but you can bet I won't be back and letting everyone know to swerve clear and find a more honest spot. This place is garbage! Update I knew I was right about this place. Read below j ust now Between Fort Smith and Joplin I would steer very clear of this dishonest establishment unless your buying one of their brand new peterbilts. If you're buying one of their used trucks i guarantee you it will be garbage my truck has been in tbe shop since the third day i took it off the lot. I left Joplin a bad review since the salesmen was from there which probably was unfair since the equipment was from here. They told me they new nothing of the issues and then i find a list of details of all the issues with the truck which would've been fine if I decided to still buy it after they told me of all the discrepancies. Its one thing I can't stand is liars. I shouldve pulled out of this deal the minute I asked for video of the truck running and they were ducking and dodging and acting like they missed my text messages and calls. I would give this place Zero stars based on honesty but hey I've never met a honest salesman in my life. I thought this place is reputable its no different from any these other low level dealerships as far as used trucks go but I guess you have to do what you have to do even if it's jerking veterans in the midst of a pandemic. This is the Thanks you get after serving your country. If your in the market for a used truck go elsewhere unless you plan of sitting in the shop days after purchasing a truck from this company.

I hope I could have given them less than 1 star. Stay away unless you are ready to spend big money for nothing. This place is a joke. Just to take a look on my trailer outside of the shop and telling me they don’t have a parts I was charged $344.65. I can’t even imagine how much it would cost to do any repairs.
