This hotel is worth -5 stars. Please DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILIES HERE! Does it sound like a deal? Sure! Should you expect flaws, absolutely. However, a dirty and unsanitary room is unacceptable, NO EXCUSES! There were markings of something brown all over the curtain and curtain rod. There was dry blood splatters on the bathroom wall. The sheets were DIRTY. The coffee machine had not been cleaned and was left wide open with a used coffee sack in it. The headboard had white sticky markings on them. I understand worn furniture for a cheaper hotel, however, something worn does not mean it has to be FILTHY!!! I wish that I could attach the pictures to show you how bad it was. I cannot afford to get sick because of the lack of cleanliness When we tried calling the front desk, the phone line fell out and it took me forever to get a hold of anyone to help me and then to have an inexperienced front desk employee to top it off. DO NOT COME HERE

I will start by saying the staff is the only reason this doesn’t get 1 star. We booked online and paid in full while booking. When we got to check in, they required a $250 cash deposit or we couldn’t check in. We got to our room and it looked nothing like the pictures. The curtains had holes in them. The bed sheets had holes in them and some red marks on them we hope was not blood. The beds are the loudest and most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money on something nicer.

The floors are new and it has fresh paint . The beds where clean , the ac good. The microwave was dirty and it’s old, it looked like something melted part of the microwave. The refrigerator had cracks inside and the curtains are old and had stains. We had a small cockroach walk in the room. If you going to just pass by for 2 nights it’s good. The washing machine are old. I did not use it. We did not use the pool either. It need some upgrades.

Accessible parking sucks if you have a lift on your vehicle. Check in is remote so it is less personable. Accessible rooms are not really wheelchair accessible, yet there is a ramp to the room and some features, but if you have a larger chair it is tight in a 2 queen room.

Some friends of ours were coming into town to visit and knew they would get in around midnight or so and had booked a room at this place online. When they got there they were told that the room was more money and they needed to pay the difference to be able to stay. When they refused because they had already agreed to and paid for the original price the clerk would not let them have the room. They decided it would be best to just get a refund and go somewhere else, but when they told the clerk their decision he said there were no refunds. So either they pay extra money to be able to stay or else lose the money they did pay for nothing. They ended up leaving and coming to stay with me. I will definitely be calling to complain because they deserve to be refunded at the least and I also would like to know if this is typical Quality Inn policy or an employee ripping people off.

This place is horrible! The carpet was dirty, the sheets had stains on them, the pillows smelled like they weren't washed, the shower was dingy yellow and had no shower curtain, and the towel rack was falling off the wall. Also, the outside was falling apart and garbage was all over. Do not stay here!

I was pleasantly surprised with this motel. I stayed here really not expecting very much. The room was updated and clean, the mattress was good quality comfortable, and the breakfast was sufficient. We usually don’t stay at these smaller motels, bit this one is well done.

This room may be one of the most disgusting places I’ve had to occupy. Everything about this place is old in a bad way. The electrical plugs are yellow, the sink had a crack in it, and the bathroom is just dank. Please try to find somewhere else to stay.
Also, we booked through an online booking site and it directed us to Quality Inn’s website to finish booking. Our credit card info was stolen. We had charges occurring in Sarasota a few weeks before we were even there.
So, just an all around avoid from me. Two stars because the price is the cheapest in town. But at what cost.

This place is stuck in the 1970's! This is a motel, not a hotel. Stairwell light is burned out and broke. We had furniture piled up outside the door of our room #201. Vanity light kept shorting out. King bed had a rubber protector on it for those who wet the bed. Toilet paper dispenser is old fashioned and only allows 3 squares at a time. Lots of shady characters mulling about. What a dump!. I we run across another of these we will NOT patronize Choice Hotels. I would like to post a picture of the piled up furniture, but cannot find a way to add it.

Tyler and Amy were absolutely amazing and very friendly and attentive to our needs during our stay here while our house was being remodeled. Very clean and renovated rooms at a price that is unbeatable! Definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while in Sarasota!
