What an absolute gorgeous place to stop by and stretch your legs! This rest area is so beautifully maintained and very relaxing. Huge area for your furbabies to roam around and stretch their legs as well! Everything was very clean and tidy. Will definitely stop by again!

Clean rest stop. Gorgeous views. Great place to make a stop and walk the dogs. Picnic tables. When we're traveling in that direction which we do quite frequently, we always stop at that location. For some reason our dogs just love it.

The best rest area I've experienced. It sits next to rend lake. Full view of lake with picnic tables and play ground. The view is calming. Lots of wildlife. Thanks for sharing this spot with the public.

Nice view, clean restrooms.
Only down fall is semi parking a little tight, & some drivers can't seem to pull up enough so you can get past their a$$ hanging out in the drive.
Otherwise, worth the stop if needed.

Great stop. RV friendly. Dog friendly. Beautiful views of the lake. Small trail/sidewalk but it works great for a lunch stop with several tables located under sheltered areas.
There’s a small kids playground, however it was closed due to covid. Indoor restrooms and several stocked vending machines. Lots of grass with countless trash cans and lake front views to throw out a blanket and enjoy some snacks/food and then get back on the road.

I love this place, it’s so beautiful there and off the lake. Every time I’m in the area I stop here. The views of the lake are amazing and totally worth the stop alone. It’s a great scenic change from driving on the road and you can even access the lake. The playground is very nice and the grass is always very well kept. The restrooms are good, always clean, and well kept along with the building. The vending machines have a lot of options and take credit cards. They do a great job here at this rest stop, it’s one of the best ones. I highly recommend stopping here.

Very pleasant. The staff are wonderful. There are so many places to sit and relax, tables to eat at, and native wildflowers to see. And, of course, a beautiful lake to walk down to.
When we arrived to eat, the gentleman mowing drove to another area to give us space and less noise. Very nice of him.

I’m in love with this rest area.
This rest area sits at the edge of the lake, walk down there relax for a few minutes or during your rest time. During the day you can see people out on the lake enjoying recreation time. It’s quite lovely.

Basic rest area..no Food vendors just vending machines for coffee snacks and drinks. I would’ve given a 5 if this was a rest area with vendors.
We were having car problems so it definitely met our needs as being a safe place off the interstate to wait for our tow truck.
Bathrooms were clean and well maintained...there was a “manned” visitors desk until 5 pm answering questions.
