Bathrooms were relatively clean when I was there in the middle of the day. Since I was there during the day, I can't speak to how well lit it is at night or how clean it is at night.

The jewel of the Nile when it comes to Florida Rest Areas. My hats off to Premier Security for their adherence to parameter and all points visible mobile patrolling routine. They can be spotted at all times easily due to the very bright but slow rotating amber light atop their surveillance units. They run a tight ship and do not hesitate to stop and check on visitors who seem to be nervous or acting strangely or in a hurry to get back on the road. Beautiful date palms and well lit walkways welcome you as you enter the restroom and vending areas. Informational materials are displayed inside cases with pertinent messages to the safety and well being of all visitors to Florida. Missing or abducted childrens pictures and information is first and foremost .Large maps and points of interest are next and last but not least detailed colored pictures of the venomous and nonvenomous snakes that are native to the region. The Florida Highway Patrol is always close by as well keeping a keen eye on tags and moving trailers.
The janitors are very polite and friendly and they keep the facility superbly safe and clean and well stocked with all the necessary amenities.

Florida takes pride in it's landscape and also kept the bathrooms very clean, great spot for overnight parking and the puppers will love the grass to run in.
