Beautiful California coastal rest area with parking for 20+ trucks which fills up by late afternoon.. Up above the ocean with distant views. North of Carlsbad.

It's a basic rest stop. Important when you are driving for a while to get up and stretch your body and legs. There are machines for snacks and drinks, restrooms and smoking areas. I was surprised to see a place to recycle cigarette butts.

It was modernized several years ago. It's a fine, clean, nicely landscaped rest area with plenty of parking for regular autos, for tractor trailer rigs, and for handicapped. It has a generous collection of coin-operated vending machines for food and drink.

Great accommodations for a rest stop. One of the cleanest stops in the state. Adequate restrooms, well stocked vending area for drinks and snacks. Picnic tables, and lots of space to stretch your legs during a long drive.

There are a lot of vending machines and the restrooms are clean. They are also benches to sit down a walking area to walk your dog, and a viewing area to see the sea
