Russell Easters for Rest Stop - Mile 382
Clean, comfortable and plenty of parking. The dog walk is a little confined. There were several dogs in a small (it appeared to be small) area and some not as friendly as others with owners that looked as though they would fall short of having full control over their pet. We had to wait for it to clear out a little lol, we have a little MinPin that thinks he's ten foot tall and bullet proof and we didn't want him to start something with another dog four times his size! I still give 5 stars because all the amenities are there and waiting was a choice more than absolute necessity.

Nice, emaculate rest stop facility. Grounds well kept. Several nice shaded pavilions on site with large picnic tables. Very impressed...

Restrooms were clean and well stocked with soap and toilet paper. The grounds and parking lot was upkept. I felt safe which is the most important thing for a woman traveling alone. Definitely worth stopping here, again.

The Rest Stop - Mile 382 was a really good rest area because it had vending machines and bathrooms. Also, there was enough parking for people to have their own stations to sleep. We stayed here very quickly and then went onto our destination after filling up on water.

A very interesting rest stop. I like the snake wall that they have built to protect the rest stop from the lowland area when it floods. Evidently there are a lot of venomous snakes that come up during high water. Very cool infrastructure.

Rest stop was clean. Lots of space to get the blood flowing or wall the dog. Covered picnic tables for grabbing a quick bite, out of the car.

I never did see any snakes that the sign eluded to, but I think I would have found a better place to build a public watering hole. This location was rather small, the bathrooms were clean and the grounds are well maintained, if you don't count the large fenced in flood control area and the small sump hole on either side of the building. This location did have 7 covered picnic areas. The highlight was the very pleasant and helpful staff, this location is staffed 24 hours a day.
