The Home Depot

This store always has pleasant staffers. I always go at 5 PM so I miss the weekend crowds. I have bought numerous items over the past two years and will gladly recommend them. Don't expect someone to be over your shoulder when you shop...it is not like Ace Hardware stores. But, you can find most things yourself. You will find areas where nobody is around to ask for help. If you understand that ahead of time, you wont feel so frustrated. The gardening department is well-stocked, but understaffed sometime. I personally thing the self-checkout stuff has good and bad points.

Great home depot, purchased a new washer dryer in store and the rep was fast and friendly. Got a great deal and delivery was perfect. Its home depot so you know what to expect, but this location is well staffed which is a big plus.

Bought 8 boxes of laminate flooring to do 1 bedroom. It turned out so nice that we went back tonight and bought enough to do the whole house. Home Depot has everything we have ever needed. Only downside is trying to find someone to help you. The guys who helped us load the flooring were awesome.

Lady in the paint dept was an A+ We were there for over an hour picking out paint she found the color we had in our mind, she is the bomb..

After making a 3 page supply list for a home remodel I'm about to start, I went into the Crystal River Home Depot. I had thousands of dollars worth of items I needed to get and I planned on getting them today. I was ignored when trying to get help. I researched several $400+ items for days before going today so I knew what I was going to get. A lot of the items I wanted were out of stock. The associates acted like I was bothering them when I was asking about availability and how I could get the items I wanted. I can't imagine the amount of money this store loses due to the employees. If you don't want customers bothering you when they're trying to spend thousands, you should find a job where you don't work with the public. I imagine the issue at this store starts at the top though. I ended up going to another Home Depot and spoke with a manager who gladly welcomed me to their store. I'm going back tomorrow to get started on my list. I ran out of time today because I foolishly wasted an hour at the Crystal River location and walked out with nothing. It's unfortunate to have to drive an hour to another Home Depot because this location is horrible.

Kudos to the employees at this Home Depot. I needed to use a cart because I'm recovering from cancer surgery. The kind gentleman at the door wiped it down for me and made sure it was working correctly. All employees were wearing their masks and everyone was extremely helpful.

They have the freshest garden plants and so organized with signage. They also have the friendliest clerks! Had one lady sit with us and give a quote for a garage door. Saw the washer we want and were directed to the doorbells as we need a new one. Self checked out as the pandemic is still in full Swing. We use hand sanitizer upon leaving.

Our home away from home! Love Home Depot. We pretty much always find what we're looking for and the staff is always there to lend a helping hand. The only thing I wish Home Depot offered is discount to veterans, we often go to Lowe's for large purchases to get the 10% discount.

I pretty much love every Home Depot. Except this one. I am a military veteran and Home Depot is supposed to have a 10% or 15% (only on Vets Day) discount for military veterans. I have both my DD214, which is my VA required proof of military service, and my Florida Driver's License with the Veteran designation on it after the State of Florida also verified my veteran's status. When i asked for the military discount at the register, showing my Florida driver's license with Veterans designation, the cashier told me she would get in trouble if she accepted that and could not give me the discount. I also had my DD214, and she said she could only accept that on Veterans Day. I requested a manager, and the manager would not accept either identification as well! Lowe's has added my military status to my phone number and i get 15% off every time i shop there as a thank you for my military service. The Crystal River Home Depot, which says their discount is only 10%, won't even give the discount to veterans with their DD214! However, other Home Depots have given me the discount just by showing my drivers license with Veterans designation, but not the Crystal River Home Depot. Because of this store's disrespectful treatment of veterans, i will NEVER shop here again. If you are a veteran or respect this country's veterans, steer clear of this store. I, along with all veterans, deserved better treatment than that.
