Oh my god! The experience itself was religious, cathartic, and spiritual all at the same time. It was less of a trucking class and more of a communion of people getting together to make a real difference in this world. Truly Euphoric.

I recently completed the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program at Troops Into Transportation CDL School and had a largely positive experience. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering everything from basic vehicle operation to advanced driving techniques, and the instructors are knowledgeable and supportive. While the equipment was somewhat outdated, it was functional and well-maintained, ensuring a safe learning environment. The school excels in career support, offering extensive job placement assistance that prepared me well for entering the job market. As a veteran, I appreciated the school's commitment to supporting former military personnel, creating a welcoming and motivating environment. Overall, I recommend Troops Into Transportation for anyone serious about pursuing a career in commercial driving.

Great place, great instructors, the instructors have a great hiring process that really puts them to the test before they are considered to be an instructor. You had a lot of time to learn how to drive a semi and you get the chance to learn manual if you’re high speed.

Had a great experience and good training. The instructors were knowledgeable and patient with the students. More driving time should be given but overall it was a good CDL school.

Excellent school with great staff and instructors! Neither my fellow students felt left out during any part of course and even though some parts of the ciriculum were frustrating to learn, the instructors showed a genuine interest in helping each of us learn everything we needed to become successful truck drivers. As a retired veteran, I have to say that I felt more at home learning with and being taught by former military members. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is either still in the military or has gotten out that would like to get into the truck driving community. Friendly, professional staff is there to help you along the way! Pros: + Course length (1 month) felt like it was just enough to help you learn the basics and help you to succeed as a safe truck driver. + Didn't even feel like "school" but more like a new adventure with interesting ciriculum. + Instructors care about each student individually and do not give up on anyone no matter how hard of a time they may have been having. They all want you to pass! + While safety is paramount, the course was interactive, fun, intuitive, and ALL of the instructors and staff have great senses of humor. Lifelong friendships have been made amongst our class. + Pre-trip inspection, tractor and trailer components, maneuvers, and especially shifting a double clutch was explained and demonstrated in great detail so no matter what your experience level, you could rest assured that you would be able to get through it when the time to test came. + Recruiters from various truck companies fed us free lunch on several days while they gave their recruiter brief. Nobody will leave this school without many job offers unless they specifically chose not to. (Most job offers were facilitated by the staff to ease the process. Not much effort was needed on the students part.) Cons: - Most of us students felt like there should have been more "on the road" time to fine tune our skills l, especially while shifting gears. (Though I am not sure how that could be possible given the length of the course overall and budget constraints, instructor availablity, etc.) - Equipment is not of the best condition (though that is to be expected at most truck driving schools since they take quite a bit of abuse by those just learning to drive). If you have any interest in making a LOT of money doing something new and exciting, but don't like a boring classroom setting, AND you feel more appropriate amongst veterans, this school is really the best choice for you. Thanks so much to Kandice and Jeff in the admin office for helping me get started! Thank you VERY much to my instructor(s) Monroe, Bennett, Dustin, and Abbott for helping me every step of the way!

The instructors are fantastic. The administration and recruiters are either lazy or completely understaffed. You cant get real answers from anyone. They never answer phone calls or emails. They owe me money for reimbursing my license and tried ducking me. Its been a month. The recruiter did everything he could to keep me on the line waiting on class to start. He told me every week for 6 weeks that we would start next week. This business needs to be restructured. Yall make loads of money from GI bill but cant afford organization in the office.
