U-HAUL CO OF NEVADA INC

My experience with this U-haul location was the worst experience ever. I made a reservation, it took 45 mins to get they keys, the person helping me was "new" but was really on the phone talking to her friends (she had headphones in), not paying attention and asking me same questions over and over again. Then thy try to give me a different truck that was bigger than I had reserved 15 ft instead of 10. They tried to be slick and when I mentioned it would take more gas they tried to make me visit a different location. What was the point of making a reservation?? The cherry on top was finally getting the truck and it not having a single drop of gas in it. The tank was completely empty and this is how they give it to customers. Just trash staff, trash experience and service. Do not visit this location.

I was, once again given a trailer WITHOUT anyone inspecting the equipment. As a result, I had a blowout immediately upon putting my vehicle on the transport trailer. 5-hour wait to get the repair!! Ended up sleeping in the truck because it was too late to hit the road at that point with the lack of sleep.. Nothing like the back pain from being squished into that truck for 10hrs!! The complete lack of concern for my safety, and those on the road around me is astounding!! I will be filing a complaint to the appropriate agencies. NEVER AGAIN UHAUL. I will use ANYONE else for my moving needs. Your services are life threatening, at best!

The truck I rented was very clean. Constructive Feedback: The items I rented, two flat furniture dollies, were not in the truck when I went to pick up the truck, and I had to go inside and ask for them. The reservation request that I made stated that the rented moving items would be in the truck on arrival, and I could just check in and go. Also, the truck was not in the specified area that the app stated when I went to pick it up. I spent a long time trying to find the correct truck. After returning the truck, the process was seamless.

We had our U-Haul that we received in Utah break down just north of Las Vegas along the highway. Our U-Haul was towed here and the staff here were totally on top of our situation as soon as we walked through the door when the truck was towed there just 8 hours before. The whole staff where incredibly helpful and accommodating. They helped us organize the movers and even gave us a brand new truck (only had 300 miles on it!) to make sure we got to our destination safely. Nicolas was super helpful especially and even went out of his way to buy some Gatorades for us and the movers that were helping us move our belongings from one truck to the next. Great service.

I have rented trailers, car haulers and trucks from U-haul for many years. There always seems to be a wait inside, in the back lot and again during drop off. Allot an hour for these three situations. My experiences here have been closer to 4.5 stars, but not 5 stars. One trailer I rented had unacceptable tires. The tread was worn down to the "safeties." This the rubber sections perpendicular to the tread that indicates where and that it's time to change the tire. The person in the back seemed unconcerned. When I turned in that trailer that guy was very concerned. Who knows how much damage that could cause. Sitting on the side of the road at 3:00 am and waiting for someone from a place 30 miles away whose business doesn't open until 8:00 am doesn't sound like fun. I recently rented a trailer and had it loaded when I received the news that my dad had passed away. His passing wasn't completely unexpected, but it is necessary. I needed to extend my rental and U-haul was able to help. I remember her name and in what state the call center was located, but I will maintain that privacy. She knows who she is and thank you for doing the extra customer service. She gets five stars plus. Be patient, buy the insurance and be kind and be polite. It really gives you advantage because customer service is no fun when they have to listen to angry, rude people all day long. Be different and be kind. Being friendly opens doors and creates possibilities for all concerned.

Completely unorganized, only one person working check in and several people in line, many workers came in and out and offered no help, When it was finally our turn to check in she was short and disrespectful. We had to wait for what appeared to be the 1 guy actually working to get us our equipment when we finally got checked in and thankfully he was actually decent. When we returned our equipment there was little guidance on what to do.

Carmina and Silvia were awesome and helped me get everything done in a timely manner. I’d definitely recommend using this uhaul location for everything move related..... I know I will

They where great to us thank you U Haul for making are trip a little easier

The truck we rented was a 15 footer With a car transport. Due to Covid, they were not allowed to help us drive the car onto the carrier or even strap it on. Me and my 71 year old mother had to do everything on our own. It was clear they don’t wash their trucks or take pride in hygiene and mechanics as there was a dead bird stuck in the grill that looked like it had been there for days. The transmission definitely seemed on the fritz as we had to stop more than necessary due to the issues. There were plenty of new u-hauls in the back lot that weren’t even used and yet they’re giving their customers 10-15 year old trucks to drive cross country. Besides the actual vehicle issues, the staff was nice and somewhat helpful.
