It's always a pleasure stopping here! This large-sized truck stop is known for its clean, plentiful bathrooms, This truck stop caters to both semi trucks and regular automobiles, providing convenience for all travelers. In addition to the bathrooms, there are food options available, such as Pret A Manger, Dunkin Donuts, and Popeye's, with a small convenience store and a gift store, ensuring a variety of choices. Moreover, the truck stop offers a good selection of supplies specifically for long-distance truck drivers, as well as the usual items for families on the road. Its location near the interstate makes it easily accessible, and parking is abundant.Plentiful inside seating worth charging syations. ATMs available too!!!

It is a very nice clean place. The bathrooms were in good condition and well taken care of. I mainly dropped the rating for the Popeyes. They had the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. They messed up the order and the chicken was overdone. The staff was friendly and fixed the missing piece quickly. There are lots of selections of food, including a cake vending machine. I didn't try it, but was surprised they were only $9 each. I expected more.

Haven’t stopped here in years. Looks like they did a complete remodel and added a shake shack which is cool but the shake shack wasn’t that good today but it’s whatever I had to pee so I stopped.

Pretty standard service area right off the highway. It's super spacious inside and clean. Food service at the more popular spots can have longer wait times but in general you'll be off the line while you're still hungry so no harm done.

Service plaza was remodeled completely. Drivers room and showers are gone. There is a huge open area to eat and relax. Coffee shop and Popeyes and convenience store from gas station is open and place is still a work in progress with space for additional spots yet to be named or open. Parking lot still the same. Still not 100% complete but looking decent.

I was doing a cross country trip and spent the night at Lombardi thinking it was a safe place to park overnight only to wake up in the morning with a $55 ticket on my windshield.
So be careful if you pick this place to park overnight during your trip because you will get a $55 fine, there’s a state police guy who comes in quietly to write tickets to people at around 3:30am while you sleep.
After they renovated this place they installed cameras everywhere not for your protection but to spy on you. This place is no longer a resting area like it used to be. The max you’re allowed to park is 2hrs., there new 2 hrs parking signs posted everywhere.

The main building is currently under reconstruction. In its place are food trucks and portable restrooms. They're in an open air setting, but it is hard to access because there is only one entrance into the facilities. There is no fuel right now.

November 2019.
The store is closed for some sort of repair/construction.
One food truck, one coffee truck.
At 6PM on Monday, coffee truck was closed, food truck stops working 7PM until 10AM. Prices are about twice the national average.
Restrooms are in temporary trailers.
The whole area is nasty, dark, dirty.

In the past, I have used this a carpool location and a place to leave a car overnight but as of 10/19, the parking lot is almost entirely closed off. The building has been torn down for renovation. You can now only park in a small lot for 2 hrs max. There is a food truck and a trailer with restrooms. Still good as a meetup point but no longer good for leaving a car to join a carpool

This service area served its purpose during our trip down I95. We only stopped by to stretch and take a quick look around but it's a very large rest stop with a lot of food options. We went fairly late but it was still quite busy. It conveniently can be entered going both northbound and southbound. There's also plenty of parking!

This is my favorite rest stop on the NJ Turnpike. Why? It means I'm about to leave that state and it's the most interesting rest stop on the turnpike. There is some outdoor seating and plenty inside. There are several nationally known fast food restaurants here and a Starbucks. I assume that there is a single contract for all the rest stops on the Turnpike since they're pretty much the same. What makes this stand out is that it's a little smaller and somehow cozier. You can count on a clean rest room and adequate parking.
