We hauled a load in late May for them. Arrived at shipper 25 minutes early for our load time and they got to us just as fast as they could. At the shipper they were short some product and said it would be roughly 6-7 hours before it was ready. Contacted broker and they said they’re not paying detention for us to wait for the rest of the product. So the driver left and headed to receiver. In route there was a accident that had caused a small fire so the state had closed a portion of road so that crews could contain it. Driver went the next fastest route, but naturally there were delays. Driver got to the receiver who was not happy they didn’t load 3 pallets and we had a delay from the road closure. Never heard anything about a rate change. At 80 some day’s past due I reached out to Greatwide to find out when the rest of the load would be paid. Just to be told they changed the rate and then sent a revised rate con reflecting the new rate, almost 3 months later. While trying to talk to the person who booked the load he got short and terminated the call. I’ve sent it to collections and filed a complaint against them. Word of advice, if you’re going to do business with them I would do so with great caution. We only hauled 1 load from them. I don’t want it to be thought everyone there is bad, but the corporate office lady was very dismissive and short. The First Lady to answer the phone at the brokers office was pleasant and happy to help. We didn’t care for the broker the whole time during the load and most definitely have a more than sour taste for him after today. Best of luck guy’s, be safe out there.
