Horrible customer service from the night shift. We called about 10pm and talked to a very friendly young lady who assured us that us cutting our drive short and ending up in Joplin at 5am would be no problem at all. Finally called about 4am when our other party got there ahead of us and the extremely rude lady at the desk told us there were no available rooms. When we were told at 10pm there were plenty of rooms. Then it turned into an excuse of the system won’t let me reserve any rooms. And then she started talking to us like we should know how all this works when we called and we’re told that we were good to go. We were okay with paying for two nights if that’s what was needed but the First Lady assured us that wouldn’t be necessary. Then when we arrived we were told not only would we not be welcome to stay past 11 on thursday when the First Lady told me our checkout would be 11 on Friday (we didn’t need that long) but after a 15 hour drive that was only half our trip, we were told we couldn’t be there for more than 6 hours? Whoever the old lady was that was working the night/morning of Wednesday/Thursday July 28th needs to go if you expect any repeat or happy guests. If you hate your job that much then don’t apply to be in this field. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
