I’m so grateful for the team at Freddie’s. My family was stranded on I-10 with what I initially thought was a dead battery on Saturday midday during a holiday weekend. I called roadside assistance with my insurance and after about a long wait decided to start calling companies from a google search. I called a few before Freddie’s that either had almost a 2 hour wait or no availability. When I called Freddie’s a female answered, was very honest about costs, and even asked if I had called my insurance to save money because they were in network. I called her back and advised I would like to proceed and would file for reimbursement for sake of time. She was very quick to gather my info and said she’d have Austin call me. Austin called within minutes and help me diagnosis that it was probably my alternator so he’d reach out to the tow truck guy (who I later found out was named Calvin). Calvin called me within about 5 minutes later and provided me with his ETA. He arrived and worked quickly to get my car loaded and family loaded in the cab. He was very personable during the car ride; my only slight complaint was that he vaped a few times while my kiddos were in the truck. He provided an upfront estimate for the repair before we got to the shop. Once at the shop, he worked proficiently and had us back on the road in no time. The price was what I felt to be reasonable for a tow, alternator, after hours, and speedy repair once we got to the shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if I needed help in the area again.
