Beware of them. They feel that you not working 25% of time and their fault or unwillingess to get you loads to work is ok and that you are not a team player. They won't pay for detention pay even though it was there for 8.5 hours listed on BOL. I work to run over holidays because I take off 3 days per month. And they won't even try to get you a load. Worst people I've worked for. Should have listened to my friend Let's talk. I said I needed 3,000 miles. Tooting my own horn. You just proved I want and did deliver on that. The weekend before Thanksgiving. I didn't drive on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not by my choice. Started driving Monday afternoon of thanks giving week. Dispatch told there was very little to no chance of getting loads through Thanksgiving weekend. So 3 days weekend before Thanksgiving to weekend after if i had stayed I get 750 miles to support 4 PEOPLE 2 OF WHICH ARE MEDICALLY. DISABLED FOR A WEEK? I HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD WITH MY PAY AS I AM A SINGLE INCOME HOUSEHOLD. I wasn't going to abandon your truck. Your dispatcher was the one that stated that maybe it was time we parted company. Bouncing around. I drive 650 to 700 mikes per day. If a company, not yours, gives you 1200 to 1300 mile runs, that part is good. It was the 'to be done in 4 days'. So I drive the run in 2.days and get the opportunity to do a 34 hr reset ON EVERY load. That doesn't make sense for anyone. You get paid when drivers deliver the loads you give them. I asked for shorter time frames between pickup and delivery multiple times. I don't know. Maybe you feel it was a good thing to sit for2 days per load and that is within the rights that ihelped defend as a veteran In my world. Sitting for the 2 days isn't really a viable option.
