File manager manual

The file manager displays all files that are downloaded through the carrier dispatch system.

Files that are downloaded through the carrier dispatch system will always be related to a certain entity.

In the column on the left, a list of system entities is displayed in the form of folders in which files related to this entity will be displayed.



These folders are system and cannot be deleted.

The user can copy the file to another folder by selecting the desired file and clicking the Copy to button. A modal window will open in which you will need to select in which folder you want to copy the file.

The user can also move a file or several files to another folder by selecting the desired file and clicking the "Move to" button.

If the user has added several companies in his account, he has the ability to move files between companies, by clicking the Move to button, you need to select the option "Move to another company" and in the list select the company to which you want to move the file.



To delete a file, select the required files and click Delete. After confirmation, the files will be deleted from the system.

It is also possible to change the entity to which the file relates, to do this, select the file and click on the "Assign" button.

In the list, select the entity to be assigned to this file, as well as specify the entity ID (entity id - a specific entity object, for example, this may be a specific load, truck, trailer, etc.)

The file field also displays a “three dots” menu with functions (Edit, Cope to, Move to, Delete, Download)

The Favorites folders display files that have been marked as favorites by the user. To select a file as a favorite, you need to click on the star icon in the file field.

The Recent folder displays the last files added to the system, regardless of the type of entity. This folder is created for the convenience of file management, the user can always see which files were added to the system last and take the necessary action with them.

In addition to system folders, the user has the ability to create new folders by clicking the Add folder button.

You can create a folder tree of any level of nesting.

The user also has the ability to upload new files by clicking the "Upload file" button and selecting the file you want to upload.

Note that the downloaded new files do not have the selected entity by default and will only be displayed in the file manager. If you need the file to be displayed in the carrier dispatch system as well, you can assign an entity to it using the "Assign" fun

ction or assign an entity to which the file will be related via the edit file form.

To view the file, just click on the file field, the file preview will open.

The preview file also duplicates functions - Copy to, Move to, Delete and Download.
