Here comes the first poor review of this firm. When you need an attorney, you're in trouble, you're vulnerable and hoping for the best possible outcome in what are bad circumstances. I thought I would get a firm that cared, but they prefer to compliment themselves whilst you're jammed up waiting 8 months for Discovery that never comes. One would think, you might have a chance to win when your accuser can't prove half the charges you're facing with video and audio of the arrest. From the very beginning, my emails went into Matt Dorey's SPAM folder while I waited weeks for some idea of what to expect. Thanks for the apology at the time Matt, but that is just bush league. Attorney #2 comes into the mix, Paul Koutouzakis. Paul didn't appreciate it when I said it seemed to me that my file/case was being passed around his office. Paul actually had the nerve to give me an attitude when I said that, and he referred to what I was getting as basically a "dream team" of attorney's. Give me a break, Paul. Last but not least, attorney #3 Colin Bonus. At this point, I'm 8 months in and now I wait for Colin to reply to an email or even call me before my hearing. So, I email Tonianne Kosinski and request that SOMEONE call me before my April court hearing (have email to prove my efforts). She responds that she will pass on the message. What do you think happened? No call and Mr. Bonus actually had the nerve to tell the Judge that I hadn't "made up my mind" as to whether or not go to trial. That's exactly what I wanted to discuss and I got scolded by the Judge for "dragging this out." I spoke up and told the Judge it was my representation who dropped the ball, not me. $5,500.00 they need to do a better job than this BS. I bet I could have won my case and not lost my license if I had a firm that seemed to care about me. Bonus actually said to me that we should take the plea and get this off the Prosecutor's desk. The fraternity of lawyers sticking together if you ask me. Oh well, look long and hard before you consider this DREAM TEAM. The best part is that I took my lumps on May 17th and I was back with Matt Dorey. That was a week ago today and I'm still waiting for this guy to get confirmation of closing docs and what I should do next. I've text him 3 times (I have his cell) and I can see he's read them, but STILL NO RESPONSE. Thanks, guys.
