I previously posted a pretty long and descriptive review of how much I really appreciate Costco & all the reasons I prefer shopping there for all my needs and wants for my family. Well, today, I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated over a free sample. I was NOT allowed to try the sample, I was told I can't try it unless I've bought it and tried it at home. This makes no sense to me, because that is the whole purpose of trying it first. I am disgusted with this logic. MANY times in the past, I have taken samples and liked them so much, I bought them and continued to buy them. Now, it's like I am supposed to smell, learn about, and see the prepared product, take a huge chance on buying and trying it. What's the point?! I don't know who's policy that is, but it is a bad one and will NOT improve sales! NO MORE SAMPLES! NO THANK YOU. I Don't need to be teased to buy what I want. That's sad. I really love Costco and my last review was very highly appreciative and full of praise. I'll change it back when they stop teasing customers with so-called samples!!
