Can't say enough about our teams' professionalism, absolute attention to detail and care, and the positive attitude and pride in their work. From the packing/loading to the unloading/unpacking 5 weeks later, we had excellent communications and responsiveness from everyone at Tailored Move. They took a LARGE shipment and unloaded, unpacked and assembled in what felt like record time. But we never once felt like they rushed it. Our packers and the team of professionals who loaded (sorry I don't have their names at hand) were outstanding. They packed our items - including some pretty major bulk items - in no time! They were good-natured about their work and extra careful in the wrapping, packing, labeling and moving. Dave, Ivan, Jay, Jack and Chase were phenomenal on the destination side. It was evident hey've been at this a long time - and they have an eatablished rapport and routine. It felt like it mattered to them that we were satisfied - happy, even - in our new home. Moving is stressful, but it's part of military life. After being displaced for 5 weeks, we were eager to get in our home but also concerned about all our things making out in one piece. Everything was intact! Tailored Move - from start to finish - provided stellar service!

Superb movers! Professional and stays focus to ensure items bring transported are handled with care. My #1 moving company!! Extremely pleased from start to finish. 😉. The team assigned to me were extremely polite, respectful of the property, extremely careful during unloading and transporting items to 6th floor. Same team was sent back to pick up boxing debris from 7 crates full of stuff. Impressed with same superb level of service received during delivery of household goods. This team worked extremely well together, always smiling and happy, never heard a complaint. Hopefully, when I need to pack out I am blessed with the same team. Completed my Military Move very quickly and smoothly. An absolute outcast from all of the horror stories I had heard about moving companies that don’t do their job well, the team that packed and moved my things was quick, thorough and precise. Thank you so much! The movers that showed up were all excellent, absolutely no complaints! The packers that showed up were excellent as well, with the exception of one woman who only showed up on day 2/2 for packing and had an awful attitude, spending the entire day complaining (this same line several times) that she “wasn’t there to clean up” - to which I had said that if anything was unclean (which it was not) that I would take care of it right there. I received a lot of attitude in response to that as well, which was disappointing, and her colleague looked very uncomfortable in response to her behavior and later made a point to apologize and note that she was not a reflection of their company. “Crissy” made my wife uncomfortable in the home and she was completely unprofessional and rude. She even called her boss a “retard” in front of myself and my family, a boss whom I had the pleasure of meeting the first day and he was very quick and polite and thorough. The woman’s name was “Crissy” or something, but despite having an attitude and being so unprofessional she did her job and packed everything that she was supposed to. I will not dock the company as a whole because of this one woman, as literally every other person that entered my home was an absolute delight and did their jobs. I would personally choose this company again if I had to, with the exception that I would be guaranteed that the one woman “Crissy” would not be entering my home. I would never have her anywhere near my home or family again. I have no ill will or negative outlook on the company because of her actions, but I cannot say the same for other customers who may not be so understanding. This company performed the delivery portion of our most recent move. I have not received this level of customer service / care in more than 10 moves. The company confirmed the moving day with me shortly after it was scheduled. They then followed up about a week prior to the move day. They then called me the day before and again when they were about 30-minutes out. The team showed up and took the time to set up a box staging area so my wife and I could check each box off of the list before they placed it in the house. They went the extra mile, when due to the differences in bedroom sizes from the house we moved from to the one we moved into, they rearranged boxes so we could create an overflow room and helped me move our oversized bed frame to the basement for storage. Throughout the very hot day they were very friendly, professional, and most importantly - had extremely positive attitudes towards everything fitting. After everything found a place - they then walked through the house with us offering to put any furniture the other movers took apart back together. I highly recommend this company and crew - and hope to get them on our next move. -Earl

Unfortunately, as a Navy family, we were not given a choice on who we would be using as a moving company. The company was originally scheduled to pack out house over three days. The day before I was informed it was cut down to two days. The moving crew of 4 individuals arrived on time and was pleasant to work with and have in the house. That is why they get one star. After the first day the house was only 85% packed. They ran out of packing supplies, both paper and boxes. I was informed at the beginning of the day they would return tomorrow and a plan was made for what I needed to have done to the next day. The crew left, on day one, without saying anything or checking in before departing. They then did not show the second day to finish any of the packing that was left. They made no effort to communicate they were not coming back and would not be bring the rest of the needed packing supplies as promised at the beginning of the process. Upon receiving out shipment at our new home and unpacking we have been horrified at the lazy, disrespectful, haphazard, and out right neglectful was they packed many things. Glass picture frames were tossed in to boxes with no wrapping or protection causing over half of our glass frames to be shattered and the contents within damaged or ruined. May were in the BOTTOM on wardrobe boxes with no wrapping or protection and other things placed on top of them. Wooden wall pieces were packed so poorly in boxes the entire piece was shattered to pieces. We still have about a quarter of the boxes to unpack and already we have DOZENS of items broken or damaged to the point of no repair and needing to be replaced. I recommend doing anything within your power to not use this company. If you have no choice, make sure you have someone watching each packer to make sure they are packing things appropriately! Wow!! Seriously, Wow! Professional, hardworking, and kind. As a military family, we could publish a small booklet of horror stories regarding the packers and movers. Literally PTSD causing anxiety every time we move. However, these folks were so amazing that wife and I were simply amazed at how fast and smooth the packing went. They were on time, clean attire, with masks, ready to work. The team lead was thorough regarding our paperwork and explained everything in detailed. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this awesome team.

Joe Moholland Moving assisted me with an overseas pack out for someone being stationed in Africa. Every representative I conversed with were professional and very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. The pack out went very well and quickly, and the team made sure that everything was stored in boxes safely and efficiently. I even received a call during the pack out to ensure everything was going well. I received a notice of weight in only a few days. I would recommend this moving company and will be using them in the future for an out of state shipping move.

Joe Moholland Moving did an excellent job packing and moving my family's belongings. They were on-time, professional, friendly, and efficient. The movers worked quickly and asked questions when they thought a piece of property might be fragile. Prior to packing out the company kept in good contact to make sure everything would run smoothly. I would definitely use their services again.

Seriously? Moving guy from this company block the entire narrow street in DC to do their business at 9:00 am in the morning. (No sign, no excuse but rude manner of speech) Most cars should have to find other way or wait there for a long time. I asked moving guy to move his truck but he denied because he cannot move out now; however, the U.S law never allow your company truck get into small street to earn some profits with the cost of other people's time. Do your business with common sense and little manner. I do not know how this kind of rude company get higher stars as other reviewers mentioned already. I also report this issue to every government sectors related to commercial trucks and also leave the review on private websites as well. Shame!

Of 9 military moves and all of the crews we had move us, this team was the best. Always proffesional and careful despite the heat and discomfort of their jobs. God bless all of you for taking care of my family!!
