Yeah they won’t hire US citizens every time I call I get somebody that doesn’t understand English. Thank you Ace for keeping it in the United States. I bought something 30 miles away at an Ace Hardware try to return it at my hometown ace and they won’t except the return from another ace hardware because they choose not to and they have that choice buyer beware stay away from this high priced business get it off line let’s shut down ace

Absolutely Unhelpful! Contacted corporate because my local ace is using a Pack and Ship address for billing purposes. This is a huge problem for billing, tax and accounting. Why would a franchisee use a packing place post box for billing. Why NOT use the actual business address? Something is shady and Somebody is possibly up to No Good! But, corporate doesn’t care. They are not even professional enough to respond to my inquiry! Have shopped at ACE and paid the HIGHER prices for years because of the potential ace integrity. Recently learning there actually isn’t any Integrity in the small business platform! No Concern for the patrons!

Ace corporate is more interested in collecting private and demographic information that in obtaining legitimate product feedback. Purchased a simple sprayer, item number 7437650. The safety and usage information is printed white on semi-transparent white plastic. It is unreadable. There is no simple means provided for feedback and possible constructive criticism.

I’ve been shopping at my local 49431 ACE Hardware store for years with great satisfaction. That being said I think it’s time I find another business to support. Today I purchased two chairs and upon leaving the store I noticed a sign in the key duplication department “let’s go Brandon “. The statement could have been a negative toward the other side of the aisle and I would still find it thoughtless. I came to shop not hear anyones political opinion.

ACE Corporate decided to drop Valspar colors without any warning, leaving us without a way to reorder custom colors purchased just a few weeks earlier. No cross reference Valspar colors to new products. Two stores near O'hare couldn't even do a color match ATTEMPT for us. We ended up going to HOME DEPOT for the paint we needed. SHAME ON ACE!

I was jusr recently fired from a ace because i called oit the owner for not wearing her mask and she told me how dare you question the owner. I think lawyers are gonna have fun. And 3 years and never written up.

Went in Ace to buy a paint brush. Noticed outside and inside a total of four employees not wearing their face masks appropriately; either below the nose or only around the neck. At checkout an older lady employee was training a new employee. The latter was wearing a mask while the former was not. I stated my concern and the elder female employee chose to engage in semantics with me regarding the fine points of of the healthcare mandate. It’s time we view this noncompliance in terms of insubordination. Employees are expected to follow policies and regulations. In addition it is not appropriate for employees to challenge customers as in this case with the employee knowing the policy regarding this matter. Apparently management is not supervising employees in this matter since this customer experienced this same activity a month ago. As a satisfied, long time customer I appreciate the hands on experience and personal attention to customers Ace brings to the table. This present deficiency is unfortunate as it is a poor reflection on what otherwise is an exceptionally pleasant and satisfying shopping experience.

FRIDAY, 4/3/20 I just went to Costello ACE hardware, 448 Union Blvd, W Islip, NY 11795. I order a $200 item and went to pick up. To my surprise, NOT ONE OF THE CLERKS HAD A MASK ON. I asked and they said they were waiting for response from corporate. Are you kidding? Not only are they at RISK...but every customer in the store is at RISK. Take care of your employees and in the process you will do a service to your customers. PLEASE

One - and probably more - of your stores are selling these hats. In the wake of the mass shootings that killing dozens of Americans and wounds hundreds in a 24 hour period, I wave a hearty goodbye to Ace Hardwares until you get your stores to stop selling and advertising this hatred.
