Beware driver's. Stay away from this company. Adam and Russell are two thieves. Report this company to the labor board. Trucking for 7 years and this company is not worth it. Please stay away from Blue Max Transport. Horrible people.

I've been with blue max for a little over a month and I can see myself being here for many more. I love being so close to home but still able to do the job i enjoy doing. I've almost added 500 a week to my paychecks while staying in the southeast no more than 2 states away rather than being all over the right side of this country for less pay and less hometime. These guys really try to make sure you get the best home time with your family while also getting you as many miles as possible to make a good living for your family. I don't feel like a robot here and I can almost set my own schedule. I'm up at 5am and done by 6pm every day so I never worry about parking anymore which at my last job I was almost having to pay for parking 3 to 4 times a week since I never got done before 9pm. The mack athem trucks are pretty awesome. Can actually handle weight and can go 70mph instead of being stuck at 62 like my last job. And they have a built in fridge so no more taking up space. These guys let you focus on doing your job instead of trying to manage your entire life. You have freedom in this job but don't strangle yourself with it. And they don't make you carry coil loads!!! Lumber, stone, shingles and sod is all you haul for the most post (sod is only for the local guys though)

I’ve been here for a year and a half, and I honestly can’t think of working anywhere else. I’ve worked at a lot of companies unfortunately, and they’ve always given me the run around with pay and home time ect. I never seem to have to worry about those things working here. If you have a bad week which if you’ve done this long enough you know your going to be dealing with a few bad weeks here and there, equipment breaks down or a customer takes too long to load you or unload you and you miss that next load they still take care of you. I don’t see the $1,000 a week minimum pay much but when I do it’s nice to have that to fall back on. It’s not a perfect company, none of them are, but they value your pay and your home time. But if you don’t want to work or you think you need to sleep until noon everyday then good luck I don’t think you’ll do good anywhere.

Beware of driver in truck 114, he will change into your lane, no signal, run you off the road. He did the twice to me and when I pulled up beside him, he gave me the finger and called me a Mother**cker. If you do business with this company you need to find a better company. They think because they drive big trucks they own the road.

The only thing this company is good at is running the company into the ground,

Charge their drivers for everything. Can't get anyone to answer their phone let alone during an emergency. Illegally take money out of your paycheck. Tell you you did the right thing and you're not responsible then take money out of your pocket anyways. Only advise I have is don't do it

Beware of this scam of a company. .they will keep your money. Not home on fridays like promised, responsible for tolls, tarps and straps, don't supply blankets to keep tarps from ripping, but remember you are responsible for their property. also responsible for any over weight tickets. You don't find all this out until orientation. You sit for hours waiting on loads. After the clock has started too.Poor communication.you won't hear from them until 10am or after about load info, after saying they will call at 6:30am Don't apologize for delaying you home. Will even hang up the phone on you. Not very organized at all. Stay away better yet run. It's pretty bad another driver tells you not to stay with the company and your only at orientation. It's gotta say something. Not to mention boyfriend also picked up a load to take to them when returning the truck. Don't pay to be nice to someone or a company..total BS!
