Days Inn by Wyndham Collinsville

Good price for a place to lay your head. Room smelled very clean. It could use some better cleaning around the headboard on the floor but it wasn't a big deal. Nice hot shower. Very friendly staff. This is my second time here and will probably be my go to when I stay in Collinsville.

Five stars but not a five star hotel, but would still recommend. It may not be a Hilton, but (mostly) clean room, comfy (but a little squeaky) bed, and the maintenance team probably isn't the best, but the staff are nice, convenient location and good room. Have stayed here before and likely will again. Biggest complaints would probably be the TV is incredibly tiny and there's no outside seating area.

Absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. The Old lady manager is rude as hell and the rooms have bed bugs. Do not waste your money here! Better options across the street!!

We had a great stay here. Room was roomy, room was clean and smelled clean. Jessica at front desk was very nice, building was clean. No noise at night. If we were to pass through this area again we would stay here again. Our deposit was returned quickly as well.

If I could give negative stars I would. We booked this hotel for the pool for our 3 yr old. After we checked in the lady said the pool was closed for the day but would reopen by the next evening. That was a lie, the pool was going to be closed the whole time we were there. That needs to be posted before you even walk in the door and on their website. Telling our 3 yr old no swimming after we told him we would was horrible and since we couldn't refund we couldn't afford to pay for another hotel. We also were woken up at 6am due to the people on the floor above us having a child running/stomping up and down the hall for an hour straight. When we told the font desk they just said sorry and went about their own business. We left a night early, I would rather drive all night and sleep in my own bed than stay there another night.

It's obviously not the best western hotel some reviewers expect, but it has everything you need to end a busy day and start the next: microwave, coffeemaker, wireless, fridge, iron/board, alarm clock, climate control. Thoughts: One stairwell had a stale cigarette aroma, and the pool looked a bit green, but both of these are easily fixed. If you're a light sleeper on any floor but the 3rd, you may not like the fact that the floors are hard. That said, I like that the checkout time is a bit later than usual at noon, and breakfast lasts 4 hours. On check-in I was provided an instructional printout that I could tell someone spent time and care to make. My room was clean and had a pleasant smell. I like the way the hotel incentivizes housekeeping staff by holding a drawing with a card for each staff member's assigned room that the guest returns to confirm approval. The front desk person, Jess, was helpful. And all the staff I encountered were friendly. I can tell this hotel makes an effort to welcome guests with what is in their power and I appreciate that.

Nothing special.. Tho, all staff was hospitable and smiled! Bed Comfy..items are old, worn, tho the price is right. The pool did not look inviting. Water looked murky. It is strange that the front desk computer monitors block the front desk staff.. Guests cannot see them, nor can they see the guests. And, my, to be sitting and looking at the monitor is not a healthy gaze height.. Necks will be sore. The breakfast is a nice offer.. I would prefer additional fresh whole fruit (apples only available)and warm eggs. Not ones you need to microwave. Windows are nailed shut.. Tho, not a deterrent for 1 night. I just prefer fresh air. I would return.

Definitely not a clean hotel.... housekeeping is just sad. Everything is in desperate need of updating. Pool could use a good cleaning as well. You will be able to hear every foot step of anyone in a room above you. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is ok.

Dirty hallway and elevator. Maid didn't even empty trash from the previous tenant of the room. Missing do not disturb sign, had to make my own. They did give me one after that. You have to ask for soap or shampoo. Didn't even think about eating breakfast there after this. Never again.

Clean room, comfy bed, and wonderful amenities. This place has an indoor pool, breakfast, and accessible parking. The rooms have a microwave, coffeemaker, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. Soap, lotion, shower cap and shampoo and conditioner were included. Staff was friendly as well.
