The place is nasty and dusty. The towels had blood spots on them and it took me 30 minutes to get new ones.

No breakfast because of Covid , AC in room didn't work , bathroom was horrendous (towel racks and toilet paper holder falling out of wall) would not recommend this place to anyone.. place to anyone

I was very happy with the room and accommodations, especially for the money. It's very near the largest casino in Louisiana and across the street from a 24hr convenient store. The room was nice and clean and smelled good when we walked in. There's was a microwave and mini fridge in the room, which were pleasant surprises and coffee pot, ice bucket, and hair drier in the bathroom. We really went to use the pool because all the water parks are still shut down for Covid19 and it was nice and clean. We did feel like we were the only ones there though, but I'm not complaining about that.

Let's just say you get what you pay for. Definitely not an updated hotel but it does the job for price. Staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel has 24 hour shuttle to casino. That was a plus 😃

Disgusting infested with ants and roaches ! I booked a two night stay and only stayed one. Had to switch rooms twice and still was not satisfied . And even with bite marks and photos and videos of proof still did not receive a full refund ! Do not recommend. And it’s seems as tho there is never a manager available! House keepers handle everything.

This was probably a nice hotel when it opened, but now it looks like lipstick on a pig. My room had no security lock on the door, no fire alarm, no telephone service, ants in the bathroom, and virtually no television service. I asked for another room the first day but was told they were fully booked. Maintenance came to the room, said he would look for the parts for the lock and the smoke alarm but never returned. I expressed my concern that if there were a fire there would be no alarm nor any way to call for there help. With three very clear code violations I felt that a 1 day comp was fair. No reply to my initial email. On second request was told that there would be no comp because we completed or stay. This place is a disgrace and who only knows what other code violations remain unrepaired. Unsafe. Unclean. Not maintained.

CE District Mgr LDBMB for Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kinder
We recently booked a reservation. I specifically ask to be next to my Dad. When we arrived of course that wasn't the case. We checked in put or belongings in our room and left. When we arrived back at 4 am we found our luggage in the hall way of the hotel and our key no longer fit our room. So back down to the front desk we went to figure it out. He told us that he moved us at our request to be closer to my Dad yet he failed to tell me! It also took 3 times to the front desk to get my Dad in his room because the batteries were dead in the door! So after my luggage sat in the hall for 12 hours I was LIVID! I would give the rooms a 2 and defiantly the hotel overall a 1. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The Malveaux for Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kinder
here were bed bugs in the rooms. Our recent stay was in room 243. Both of the mattresses were old and very blood stained. When we realized the bugs, we immediately called for the manager (Paul). There was no answer and at that time we would have been fine with a simple room change. After 4 calls, still no answer. Unable to reach a manager, we felt hopeless. I continually flipped over my children all night as if they were pancakes to make sure they wouldn’t get bit as I did. My husband slept sitting straight up in the infested chairs. This was not only my first time visiting The Pelican State, but visiting with relatives as well. I would have liked my 1st experience to be a nice and relaxing one, but now we are just as the bed bugs... out to get blood!
