I could not rest in the rest area. It saddens me to say this. Its a fraction of my life I will never get back. I will say they have clean restrooms and landscape is tidy. A trucker told me about his cross country trips and I educated him on how damaging fossil fuels are. He chased me around the parking lot and pushed me in the grass. I got up and ran up a tree. He was too heavy to climb so he stayed on the ground yelling obscenities at me. This rest area is a great place to get tourist information and see what the great state has to offer.

This rest area has a much kinder work crew. The signs were clearly posted of where to and where not to walk the dogs. And they had outside water access! I was very pleased. It’s amazing how a few miles can make a difference in the quality of our rest areas. Tony and another worker were very kind to me and it was greatly appreciated. I also met a fellow traveler, Renee and her sister Joy. Renee and I spoke for a while and I enjoyed our conversation. Earlier we had an encounter with two stray dogs and we worked together along with another lady named Lenny to get them home safely. When we work together for the greater good our possibilities are endless. Thank you ladies. This was an eventful and good day.

The parking stalls for the trucks are too small so it takes a minute to back into them and you're afraid the other trucks are going to hit each other.
They will come a lot of pets.
There's a lot of green grass.
The building is small. And kind of clean but not taken care of it's old.

Couldn't have found a more convenient spot today to relieve the pressure of the few bottled waters and coffee I've consumed today. The restrooms were clean and well stocked and I noticed it also has a full shower area in the back. The outside is similar to most walking parks/ picnic areas and the whole building just screams "Tennessee".

Good rest area with benches to sit and covered space to eat. Had decent rest rooms and fewvending machines for cold drinks and kids snacks.

Very convenient. Always stop here are my 7 hour trip from Kentucky to Mississippi. But why in the world is this the only rest stop that you have to cross traffic to get to? I have never seen one like it anywhere.

Older rest stop, but very clean. Attendant on site keeps it nice.

If you're north bound and stop here.... Be ready for a hike uphill just to get to the facilities !! They are well maintained... Don't try it on crutches or if you are disabled. There are a few handicapped spaces but it looked like all of the employees of the property park there so don't hold your breath to get easy access !
