Flying J Travel Center

Stopped in today ,and I tried on the racoon cap ,and was screamed at by a blind haired young lady , she told me I'm not allowed to try on a cap , so I told her since she wants to be such a rude person, I'm going to cancel my entire fleet of trucks from fueling at any pilots, I'm calling my fuel rep a d cancel my account. Unless she's terminated or demoted as manager.

Deplorable. Inexcusable. Unacceptable. It is X-mas eve. I drop off a co-driver, to wait for another driver. He wanted to wait there to get a shower, eat a meal, and wait for the other driver to arrive. We've not even been at this location for 2mins, (not an exaggeration) before a member of the staff tells my driver "You need to leave. We can't have you bothering our customers". She then proceeds to interrogate him as to "Why he's there?", "How long he plans to be there?, "Where are you parked?". She claims that he's "...been a nuisance in the past, and that it's her job to stop that". I can understand her position, but he had not talked to anyone beyond saying "Hello" as we walked into the building. She also threatened to get the store manager. Her actions were deplorable, her attitude inexcusable, and this sort of treatment is unacceptable, and all of this, during a time when moreso than any other time of year, one is expected to treat their fellow human beings with respect and compassion. To judge someone so harshly, SOLELY for their appearance. To talk to 2 drivers in such fashion. I might also add, that upon my trying to speak with her personally on the matter, that she actively tried to hide her name tag. She claimed her name was "Diane". I will not be returning to this location, EVER despite it being one that pass on a near daily basis as a driver. Furthermore I will be consulting with my company to insist on a company wide boycott of this location. Shame on "Diane", and shame to Flying J by extension.

Don't be surprised if you get rude customer service. The women their share the boss role as they make up their own way of during things. Bottom Line Is !!!Take care of the drivers!!!

Had security wake me up and tell me I had to move because I was in a reserve spot. As the pics show, I was parked beside the last reserved. To then it didn’t matter. Pay or move. Of these are reserved spots, they should be clearly marked. Still other trucks were parked in spaces clearly marked no parking and nothing was done. Manager was no help acting like a knot on a log with no people skills. Very unprofessional here.

Great spot to refuel and eat. It also has excellent showers. Great location approaching Chicago.
