Wy is broke. This place has been 'temp' closed 3 yrs. Beware of cops in rawlins and saratoga. Felony arrests for cbd hemp oil. Judge snyder keeps the local state prison full. They profile cars from ca, co, wa, and nev. Avoid carbon county.

The state NEEDS to reopen this rest area!! It's a great haven for truck drivers like myself, as safe parking can be difficult to find. The 'dirt pulloffs' are nothing but an excuse for slobs to leave their trash behind

4 CELL bars & ~20 Truck spots. Had to go under I80 to get to it going Eastbound but worth it because of its very spacious appeal. Not too much to see around because WY is flat in its Central area, but the facilities make up for it.

Would have easily been a 5 but move the dang snake signs please, I nearly peed on myself when a little dog ran into me as I was reading the sign.
Move them to where you see them well before you get out of your car and are about to enter the main building.
I think I cleared 3 ft vertically.
If there's that much of a problem post it before you have already walked a good way from your car!!!!!!!!

Clean. Great Wyoming style. Nice place for a break. Get a little nervous when sign warns of rattlesnakes as you walk into the building but thank goodness it was snowing in April: BURR (no rattlesnakes in the stalls tho; believe me I checked.) Lots of semi parking; easy in easy out.

When we rolled through this little rest area they were redoing the roads and the highway and the rest area what's good for stop clean the very busy. If you have to stop this is the only one in the area so I would recommend it as the next one is very far away. Beautiful grounds great scenery nice location.
