There is a zero percent chance this law office is actually rated 5 stars. Our entire experience dealing with this law firm was miserable, and unprofessional. Poor attitudes from everyone we interacted with, they have a blatant bias against English clientele. Our mortgage broker recommended them and we have since come to find out they no longer recommend this firm due to numerous negative experiences. Our mortgage was a home + improvement and upon completion of reno their assistants tried to tell us they were holding 15% of the funds from the bank for an extra 60 days. Was not a construction draw so explain that one. They think it's their money to hold? Required escalating the issue for 3 days straight before finally our mortgage broker had the lending authority tell the law firm to release 100% of funds. Then in attempting to cash the lawyers cheque the bank said they needed verbal approval. It took 3 days for the bank to get ahold of their firm after leaving numerous VMs, and they never called back to authorize anything until we were back in the bank demanding the funds release, calling their office non stop. Overall utter incompetence across the board. We will never use them again and we strongly recommend avoiding them (especially if you aren't French)
