They were beyond unprofessional, disorganized, and hostile . I brought my car in after an accident and they wouldnt even give me an appointment to look at it . Additionally they made me drive my car home when it was too dangerous and illegal to drive .
In addition, they gave me an impression that I was the bad customer. If your insurance recommends this place use the other repairs . I am so glad I moved the assessment to another place .

Just wanted to put a Review letting everyone know how awesome Steve is. Some dudes robbed me for my Catalytic converter on Thursday night. Steve was stopping to get a burger and heard the saw noise. He came across the lot of my job and caught them and and caught the plate. One of the dudes came at him with the saw (which could have went wrong in many other ways 🙏) but he stayed and called cops after they drove off...waited with me and spoke with the officers and security of lot. He didn't have to do anything and could have just went to enjoy his burger but he took his time and that ment a lot to me. Just want everyone to know that Steve went above and beyond in my book. Mind you I was inside my job and had no clue until I came out 20 mins after the fact. Thank you Steve!! I hope everyone has a Steve out there. 😊 I will be calling in the morning to let his management know how appreciative I am for his service.

Horrible customer service experience. My insurance company contacted them to tow my car. After I got my estimated time the driver called my 30 minutes earlier than the estimated time saying he was around the corner getting gas. I told him I was 15 min away. The driver said ok. I got to my car the driver was nowhere to be found. I called he hung up the 1st time and the 2nd time he didn't respond. I waited then called the shop and they said the driver is 45 minutes away because he went to another tow job. After waiting another 45 minutes. I called my insurance and asked them to find out what's going on and they told them an additional 45 minutes. Thankfully my insurance was able to find me a different tow company.

Back in early June we had a flat on I84 east of Hartford, and called AAA. They dispatched Joey from Governor's. My wife and I want to thank you and Joey for saving our vacation. He did a temporary fix and then led us to a nearby tire shop. This guy deserves anything special you guys can do for him. Thank you! 👍👍👍👏👏

I called three towing companies before Governor’s Auto Body was able to get me a tow truck. Greg, the receptionist, was able to get me a quote with a reasonable and affordable price. He was able to get me a tow truck right away. West, who towed my truck, was super nice and even helped point out what was wrong with my car. He arrived quickly and was able to get my car onto his towing truck right away. We got from Windsor Locks to East Hartford right away. Thank you guys for being so accommodating and helpful! HIGHLY recommend and will be using again for future occurrences!

My mother had her car repaired here. They were very professional and kind to her.
Spoke to Sal when I called to pay her deductible and he was great. I appreciate the fact that he kept his word when I requested that she not know I paid her deductible.

Their after hours service was horrible they sad one thing on the phone and another when you came to pick up the vehicle. My mother had an accident and we had to bring my mother straight There to pick up her things. Mind you we live 2hrs away from home and no one could help us,. They told us we had to come back the next morning. Jessie was especially rude and not helpful or understanding. Terrible experience. I was transferred a bunch time and even hung up on. They deserve 0 stars.

Called AAA for towing. Waited hours with no luck. Called Governor's Auto Body- they came in 30 minutes. The towing manager was very nice and easy to work with. Will be using this company again if I have any more car troubles! Thanks again for your help!!!
