Love's Ice Cream & Chocolate

I love all of the vegan options available. Every flavor I have tried is creamy and delicious! I went to Downtown Market specifically because Love's had vegan ice cream options and I'm certainly glad I did. Every time we come to Grand Rapids, we make a point to dine at one of Downtown Market's restaurants and have Love's ice cream for dessert!

Love's Ice Cream is the best!!! We've been customers for years and can't say enough about their amazing flavors, organic based ingredients, and great service! The owner, Chris, truly cares about sourcing good/high quality, "clean", organic ingredients and is a master at his craft! He is so kind and accommodating; he cares about his customers and his team of workers. Yes, it's not the cheapest ice cream on the market but you get what you pay for! Real food and good ingredients cost more and taste better AND are better for our bodies. I love how much behind the scenes work Chris puts into ensuring it's the best all around! We are gluten free and mostly dairy free and love that there are fabulous vegan options to enjoy as well. The low carb and new soft serve ice cream is amazing as well. We love buying scoops at the store and taking pints home. We've also tried several of the chocolates which are fabulous as well! There seriously has not been one thing we don't love that we've tried! I also love that you can order online several days ahead and pick up later so ensure the pints we want will be available (even if I can't get there for several days). We are huge advocates of Love's organic based and amazing flavored treats! Give it a try! It's worth it!

The store is accessible in the Downtown Market. The displays of ice cream and chocolate are inviting and I always buy more than I planned. The ice cream is wonderful and having vegan options is a plus. Some of them are unique flavors I certainly wouldn’t think of. I especially enjoy the blood orange mango.

I love the ice cream here. It’s all natural ingredients including a lot of organic and local and you can really taste the difference. It’s never icy or stale like most ice cream is. The mint chip and lavender blueberry are my favorites. The s’mores is great too and I don’t even like s’mores flavored foods. The Superhuman is also very fun. I love that they offer gluten free and vegan for those who are avoiding ingredients. The chocolates are also amazing!

Love’s is hands-down the freshest, “cleanest” ice creams I’ve ever had. Ice cream is never healthy haha but I feel good knowing that when I’m eating these I am supporting a local business who sources local ingredients and doesn’t put processed junk or fillers in their products. Try the Lavender Blueberry and thank me later 😉❤️
