Nice rest area. Plenty of truck parking. Just gotta watch out for dot inspections. When we stopped here 3 weeks ago there were no pigs there. When we drove by today they were crawling with them. Definitely don’t do a 10 hour there unless you are gonna leave before the sun comes up.

Ive been to too many rest stop for the past 5 years since i retired and this particular rest spot you can go on the back of the building,in the evening, catch one of the most beautiful sunsets. Beautiful scenery of the mountains. I must add as a warning, theres a sign that warns of poisinous snakes and insects as well, so, be on the lookout. God bless.

Coming back from Happy Jack I have driven by here many times over the years but I have never made a stop here. A couple of month ago I decided to make a stop and check it out. The place was pretty busy. The facilities where clean.

Beautiful, scenic views! Well kept grounds. There is a viewfinder that cost a quarter, but one of the picnic areas blocks some of the view. Still worth the quarter. Dated restrooms with extremely short stall doors. I almost got locked in one so be wary. They need a little wd40 or preferably an interior remodel. I enjoyed the informative panels about Arizona near the vending machines.

Nice large reststop. Very nicely maintained. Walking trails, tables, snack/drink machines. A bit noisey due to all of the big trucks.

I had the experience of using the Eastbound IS 17 Rest Area a couple times this week. Whomever the caretakers, they are doing a terrific job. The restrooms are very very clean. The area is kept clean of debris and it looked liked they raked the area daily. What a relief to make a stop and know people do care about the job they do. Pat on the back to these folks.

Cool place to visit. And investigate the desert. Back again, been a while! My dogs remembered it and it wasnt as hot as the times we came before. Great views and truck parking with views
