Almost a completely negative review. Checked in and checked out an hour later due to pool closure. Hadn't even moved our stuff into the room, front desk and manager initially refused refund, but once they saw I wasn't pulling a fast one, they did give a full refund.

Hotel was okay and wasn't terrible. I travel to IA weekly for work, it was sold within the past 2 weeks. Standards are no more, the room prices job drastically to "motel 6" prices so to speak. And under new ownership, the people have become really sketch in the area so to speak. No dumpster trash cans for days outside. So there is just piles of trash outside where the previous owners had a trash removal contract/service.
Beware of nosey Mary at the front desk she does not know how to activate a room key. Also the week before last someone tried to get in my room at midnight. Turns out Mary wrote the wrong room number on the card holder. Maintenance also walked into one of my staffs rooms without announcing themelselves. They don't know they are doing and standards are set very low.

Barely acceptable room. Idk if it's a booger, or... on my headboard, candy wrappers and cobwebs visible without moving a single piece of furniture, broken power outlets, and a shower rod that's hanging on by half the screws.
I will patiently await a response from the establishment, I'm sure this can be worked out, right?

Non smoking king room… I got it for $72 a night which is alright. The bed is fairly comfortable and I like that the a/c is not loud like other hotels. It’s very spacious. If you bring kids there should be enough space for them. There are two things I don’t like about this place. First is the fact that the door doesn’t lock itself automatically once you close it. Don’t forget to lock it yourself! And secondly, the breakfast is not good at all and has very limited choices. I usually go to La Quinta and they have so much better breakfast for a price of only $64

Located right off the interstate, you just need to use the frontage road to get to it. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and super nice! Check in and checkout were a breeze. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure and room came with a microwave and mini-fridge. We had a smoking room, which was great as they are so hard to find anymore. Only bad thing to report was there is no fan in the bathroom and there are no elevators. Other than that we had a great experience and would stay here again if in the area.

It was alright. Staff honestly wasn't the friendliest. The room was dated and the shower drain was clogged. The water backed up and filled to my ankles while taking a shower. That kinda grossed me out. In room coffee was good. Did not have breakfast so I can't comment on that
