Here is a perfect example of a state that does not care about handicapped truck drivers. Even truck stops got the hint. Want us to say good things then do the right thing. Veterans care

GLORIA ONTIVEROS for Rest Area
I stopped here before during the day and this is a clean safe place. Large rest stop with plenty of parking spaces and picnic areas. They even have a nice porch swing. Good area for walking your dog. I recently stopped at night on my drive to Charleston. It was around 11:30 pm. I had to walk my dog. I could see people standing outside their car smoking pot I know it’s legal in some states but I don’t think South Carolina allows recreational use.I won’t stop there again at night.

The rest area seemed to be very well maintained and cleaned regularly. The swings outside are a very nice touch, and the friendliness of the staff was terrific. I would definitely stop. They are also fully stocked with pamphlets and brochures for just about every attraction you can think of in the State of South Carolina.

Great place to take a break. Stopped on our way to Florida . My husband took a nap and I spent the time swinging. I love the swings. What a brilliant idea.

Seems like they clean the restroom at this rest stop pretty frequently. It's a rest stop though. With all of the things you would expect at a rest stop. Restrooms, vending machines, & a place to walk your dog (if you have one). I've been to worse. That's for sure. Face masks are recommend but I'm not sure if they are still required. Please be safe out there you guys! Try to have some fun when you can.
