SAGE Truck Driving School & CDL Test Center at IRSC

The people for the school in ft Pierce are nice. But for Sage company itself it’s garbage. I attended the first week then had to leave for VA complications which I wasn’t allowed to return. Now Sage is making me pay for all 8 weeks tat I didn’t get to go too. Don’t waste your time or money with them. They will rip you off and screw you over

Spent $5000 just to walk away with nothing, they definitely should lower the price to $2000. Due to lack of training few good instructors. Favoritism is big out here, do yourself a favor and go else where. I’m couple months late writing this but I did get my CDL.

Everyone from the office at registration Kathy & Jeniffer to the instructor Lenny were great, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have companies come in to give you an idea of whats out there for work right after school. After the classrom part you go out to the yard for real behind the wheel training. I'm a female and had never been on a truck prior to Sage and with the help of all the instructors at the sage truck field I was able to not only properly learned how to drive the truck but I also pass my cdl-A exam on my very first try. Thank you all for all if your patience and hard work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Over all Great school. The instructors, teacher and tester were all very good... I graduated today because of them... Thank you all ...

I toke the CDL class almost five years ago and they were great instructors, worked with my full time job, and passed my test, and got a job with a major carrier, good money and sign on, and paid back my tuition.

How much do a person has to paid for training to grt their cdl

The Best! Tim is a great Director, Todd is a great instructor and the whole team as a whole is great. One on one no 3 or 4 people in a truck just you and the instructor. The way it should be.

Took my CDL test here in my own vehicle. Setting up a test was very easy, Tim is great at communicating and answering questions prior to the test. Once there, the testers are professional and do their best to ease what they know is a stressful moment for you. I wanted to go to an professional, ethical school so that I didn’t have to worry about my test being invalidated in the future like the Tampa scandal a few years back. I definitely made the right choice and highly recommend them for anyone needing to take their CDL test. For perspective, I’m a female and felt very comfortable at this school. Also, I tested in my own truck, did not attend their school, studied 100% on my own at home by myself and with my husband. I find all the reviews claiming politics or conspiracy theories to likely be the result of failure to prepare.

Having recently graduated from this school I have to say I am appalled to see so many people posting bad reviews of this awesome school and its employees. My personal experience with schools and life is that you only get out of something what you put into it and I think that would go for operating commercial vehicles too. Thank you sage for having integrity and keep us all safe on the roads by training and helping SAFE drivers get their commercial drivers licence. It is also amazing to see so few reviews after seeing how many students graduate from this program every week. I guess everyone only writes one when they are unhappy? I have wanted to get my class A CDL for about ten years before finally having things work out in my life to be able to attend school. Having looked at different schools and talking to Tim at SAGE I was able to attend SAGE owing to his willingness to work around MY work schedule. I had to take time off from school twice during the course at SAGE and Tim Bond was able to accommodate my scheduling requirements during my time as a student. The instructors were helpful and progressed the students at their own abilities. I was allowed to complete the range and road drives as quickly as my personal abilities allowed and received feedback and corrections from the instructors to give me the skills to pass my road test the first time. The vibe at school is like family and you see former students, who are employed in the industry, stop by all the time with their trucks to show you their rigs and talk about life in the industry. As a student at SAGE you are constantly exposed to recruiters from top employers in the industry who stop by the classroom to encourage you to apply from day one and the instructors ensure that all students are lined up with the type of company for the driving that they want to pursue. I have nothing but good to say about my experience with SAGE, Ft. Pierce and all the people there who helped me achieve my dream of getting my class A CDL.
