I received a speeding ticket in VA back in December of 2020 while traveling home for Christmas. Since the town where I received the ticket is roughly 4 hours away from where I live, I didn’t want to make the journey for the court date but wanted to do everything I could to get the ticket dropped to improper equipment since this was my first ever ticket. I contacted Slayton & Clarey after reading multiple reviews stating how wonderful they were! It was a very smooth process sending the necessary documentation and receiving a prompt answer on the outcome of my case (dropped to improper equipment)! Reasonable costs, friendly, great outcome - would HIGHLY recommend.

Best money I ever spent. Received a ticket in VA during a holiday weekend and was stressing over having to deal with this from NJ. Did extensive research to find an attorney and am ever so grateful for finding Mr. Clary and his team. They represented me twice in court and got my reckless driving criminal charge down to a speeding violation. Dawn was very communicative in explaining the process to me over email and over the phone so THANK YOU! Happy to have this behind me.

As an out of state driver I got charged with reckless driving in 2 separate counties in VA. This charge in particular was doing 90/70. For this I have to do 24 hours of community service, an 8 hour course and $416 in fines and court fees. I don’t feel as though they tried for my case at all seeing as how I got into a 3 car accident in another county in VA and it was reduced to ‘defective equipment’ and $100 fine with a different lawyer. I understand courts are different and comparing outcomes may not be completely fair, but this is insane for speeding. Also not very communicative, only spoke to me when I reached out first (only talked maybe twice), even referring to me as Mr. in official documents when I’m in fact a lady so that’s how little they knew of me or my situation probably.
