When visiting the area near Worlds of Fun, there are several hotel/motel options in the immediate vicinity; namely due West of the amusement park across Interstate 435 on Randolph Road/Corrington Avenue. Going back some 15 years ago, many of those options weren't bad at all, with one or two higher-priced options. Fast forward to 2022, and some of the motels are turning into places were the homeless or less fortunate live all the time. So finding a decent stay in that area is actually quite challenging. Fortunately, this hotel is still holding true to being a quality place to stay, and at a reasonable price. The Staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean. The rooms are what you expect with the normal amenities (TV with cable, coffee pot, etc.). Access is through main doors to help with security. This is a plus given the location. The only thing to be concerned about (and honestly this is not the fault of Super 8) is the deterioration of the surrounding area. Again, other motels very close by are not the basic bargain motels of yesteryear, instead hosting recent crimes as stand offs, assaults, and thefts. My wife and I were hosting our oldest son, his wife, and our grand daughter for a weekend. We live close by, so we wanted them to be close by as well. Given our local knowledge we had to do our homework and go through the reviews of all the hotels there and found this to be the best. We weren't disappointed, and neither was our son and his family. If you are planning a visit to say Worlds of Fun and want to stay very close to the Park, this is really your one good option without paying absurdly high prices or settling for a 15+ minute commute from the Park to your hotel.

Our stay was perfect we had a moving truck with a car on hitch we were offered a room with a window to watch it perfect parking for it out back. The rooms were nice and clean no smell. From Chicago to Phoenix the best stay. Awesome vending machines.

This place is nice to stay. They having pool you can enjoy in the evening. I will recommend

I had a short get away and did an online reservation through Wyndham it's very convenient and I got a text a day before reminding me of my upcoming stay that gave me security I appreciate that as I have health issues and when I'm tired I have to get off my feet so there were no worries for me. After being tired out from a show at the Bank Arvest Theatre, I returned to a warm, clean, comfortable room and bed and took a relaxing bath. 24 hr coffee is a plus I love coffee! I was comfy and cozy and also the hospitality makes all the difference too, they were very accommodating I enjoyed my stay! Also the hotel is close to food and fun if you have kids! I will stay here again.

Immensely impressed the minute I walked in. Super 8? More like super 10. This particular location has just the right a minute he's and friendly service. Not to mention it's updated interior makes you feel like you are staying in a much more extensive dwelling.

We stayed at this hotel on Saturday August 31,2019. We thought this would be a nice clean hotel,since it was right across from World's of Fun. Upon arrival, we noticed that this place felt damp. We checked into room and everything had a wet feel to it. The bathroom had hair all over and you could tell it was filthy. We went to Dollar tree and purchased cleaning stuff to clean bath tub so we could take a shower. Very displeased that we paid the price we did to stay in this hotel.

Spacious, odor-free room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Excellent stay. However, price was too high at $89 on July 12. I see the room is listed at $64 on August 31. Location was conveniently close to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Temple and the Kansas City Zoo.

Excellent stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Katie was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The biscuits and gravy in the morning were pretty tasty too. I would stay here again the next time I'm in the area.
