Tiger Truck Stop

Big store with lots of merchandise available, lot is nice and large for trucks, staff is great and the food at their deli is fantastic... if a bit pricey. Aside from that, it was a dang-near perfect stop. Highly recommended for drivers to stop and rest here.

Good food and friendly staff ,can't wait for the new building to be built and restaurant to be open inside I just hope they keep the same menu or add a little more local cuisine to it ....that's what makes the tiger so unique it's not all a repeat of the larger t/s franchises fast food only....tiger cafe kitchen staff has always took pride in their food and taken care of their customers.My hope is the new ownership appreciates what the do enough to keep them and only help them to improve the fine food that they enjoy serving the public, and now they're in the new building.....wow !! what deception...yes they're cooking some of the dishes they're known for but the sit-down diner is pretty much not there, food's good , restroom is clean , upgraded, convenience store and truck fuel islands truck parking is so much better...with all that room and hype about old cafe to new 1overnight transition and they couldn't incorporate at least a 50. -75 person seating Cafe in the building ( not counting any seating in casino)??

If the previous owner could see this little grocery store that it has turned into now. The Tiger Cafe is no more, basically nothing more than a deli now for a the 4 wheeler tourist. Don't order anything to be cooked fresh unless you have 2 hours to waste, that's about how long it takes these people to cook something now. I ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich and it comes with fries. I finally gave up waiting after standing there for at least 30 minutes. I. refuse to ever stop here again for anything, if I could give it zero stars I would!!!

The seafood gumbo was cool and the rice was dry and hard. For $22 it wasn’t fit to eat. Then the power went out and we couldn’t get food heated up. We had to leave!! We won’t be back!! For a new truck stop it isn’t worth the time or money to stop!! You ruined a fine old restaurant with friendly service and good food! Never again!! It’s just warmed up deli food!! One star is five too many!

Very very disappointed in the Tiger Truck stop. My husband and I stopped in on June 30, 2022 to have a sit-down hot meal, only to find out that the cafe was now closed and a deli was opened in its’ place. Yes, seating was available but no service. You order at the deli counter and then sit after you receive your food. The young lady that served us didn’t have a very good attitude. More like we were bothering her when we inquired about the cafe reopening and trying to decide on our order. We ordered a catfish platter and a shrimp platter. $15.99 & $19.99. Both came with fries only as a side. No bread, no second side like their sign stated. We really liked coming here for a nice, hot, fresh made meal we could sit and enjoy. Now it’s like every other truckstop out there. They are in it for the money, not for the drivers and service like they used to be. 😔😔😔
