Imagine my fear and confusion when I wake up one morning to find 3 uniformed police officers at my doorstep, asking about the girl staying with me. Turns out, her family thought she was at the dorms of the college she attends, not with me in an entirely different state. And so, after having called her only once that morning while we were asleep (and thus not getting an answer) they filed a missing person's report. Yes, insane, I know. This girl, confused and scared out of her wits, leaves with the police on their suggestion, and suffice it to say the rest of the day got extremely weird (in a terrible way) such that I found it necessary to contact a lawyer to help me make sense of a situation I found myself in. Luckily, this story has a happy ending. Both myself and my guest suffered a lot of emotional trauma due to what was ultimately a series of misunderstandings that got cleared up over the day, but it easily could have been much worse. When I called Peter Albani that day, he did an excellent job in helping explain to me the situation and what to expect. He was extremely professional and managed to help me feel calm despite being very forthright about the potential consequences I could be facing if things hadn't worked out as they had. This entire ordeal was terrifying and honestly embarrassing, so I'm taking the time to write a review despite not having needed Peter's counsel because of how he helped me in the situation I was in. He calmly took the time to explain what was going on, what I might expect, and what I should avoid doing to make things worse. I hope to never find myself in a similar place again, but if it were to happen, Mr. Albani would be the first person I would call.

Peter was great! I was charged with a traffic offense after getting into an accident with an aggressive driver. I called Peter and he was very receptive and told me he could help. After learning that the case was with the municipal court of Brighton, Peter actually told me he believed I could fight the case on my own and should save my money. He gave me multiple documents and information on how I might go about fighting the charge and didn't charge me a dime for the advice! After talking with my husband, I decided I didn't want to fight it alone, so I ended up hiring Peter, anyways. He succeeded in talking to the city attorney and getting my charge down to a simple traffic infraction and on top of that he refunded my fees and court costs to me out of what I paid him just because he said the case ended up being easier than he thought! Peter is a great professional who knows his stuff and he is not just out for the money. He cares about his clients and wants what's best for them. I highly reccommend him!
