C1 Truck Driver Training

I attended C-1 in March of 2012. I am a truck drivers wife so I thought I knew everything. I passed the written tests on the first try and missed 1 on the Pre-trip test. But to be honest I was horrible behind the wheel. I lost my temper when I missed a gear and slaughtered the range, I could not back. Four weeks past and I failed to completed the range, not even halfway, I had ZERO trailer control. The amazing instructors never discouraged me. They always said "YOU CAN DO THIS"! The 5th and final week came and if I couldn't complete the range I would have till Friday, then I would be sent home, a failure. But on Monday morning everything "clicked’' I performed a flawless Range, my instructor Tim was stunned. By Thursday I had passed all the driving tests and was a proud owner of a Class A CDL. The instructors never gave up on me and now in 2021 I am still driving - accident free. I will be forever grateful C-1 and the dedicated Instructors.

Good program. Enjoyed the experience. Office and instructors really came in clutch; were laid back but professional. Ain’t get a chance to give Smitty his props on the survey. But get really came through

The instructors were very knowledgeable about Everything. Victor MacDonald is the best instructor there. Highly recommended.

This was a great program, I entered the training with no experience with trucks or manual transmission. The instructor were patient and very helpful with guiding me to success and furthermore graduating from the program. Overall great experience!!
